After our experience at MLM, I was contacted by them trying to correct some of the problems we experienced. They were apologetic, kind, and professional. I would rate this a 0 vs a 1 star if I could. I bought a vehicle back in Jun and have had to put a ton of money into it since then due to it not being taken care of while on their lot. I wish I could go back and purchase at a different location, even for a higher price as long as it was kept up. Before I traveled 2.5 hours to the dealership, I let them know I was coming to look at this particular vehicle. I got there, it wasn't there. Had been taken to the shop the day before, or earlier that day. I asked if they could do something like hold it til the following weekend when I would return and they couldn't, even though I wasted an entire day and money to get there. They said NO. I was in the dealership 5 hours, and with a pre-approval before I walked in. I knew what I wanted. They talked us into trying their finance, brought us into an office, asked us to fill out 1 piece of paper, excused us from the office with the intention of helping someone else out. We waited 1.5 hours after that to see a different finance rep. We weren't good enough to help in the "line" we were already in to see the finance team. It was a complete insult and I should have walked out at that time. On the way home from the dealership, the Engine malfunction light appeared. So, in the first week, I spent 1.5 days in the dealership getting the wastegate pressure converter corrected and they said the windshield wipers were worn. Other repairs/replacements in week 1 - rear brake light was burnt out, rear reverse light, purchased a driver side floor mat (which I understood it wouldn't have all the accessories with it), an alignment was required from it pulling to the right. The service Dept at BMW said my tires were worn, so I just had to replace 2, but did all 4, because 1 tire was deflating bad and the other was just as bad. It was plugged with a string plug, which I was told "One of the worst and cheapest way to plug a tire". The trunk cargo cover didn't even work, but it was laying in the trunk. Now, why would you even put this accessory in the trunk if it didn't work. Just keep it out. Obviously, it wasn't tested. The license plate tag screws were rusted when I tried replacing it. I had to purchase a new tag holder. When signing for the vehicle, we agreed to a back light cover to be replaced because it was cracked. After many emails and my last resort of asking for the owners contact info, I finally received it 3 months after purchase. The air conditioner just stopped working with a leak and while in for service, they found an oil leak. I did purchase their extended warranty (crossed 50K miles shortly after purchase), that will pay for most of it. So, with a warranty, I have to pay my 100$ deductible and they are claiming the air conditioner leak and oil leak are NOT fully covered. Sarah tried to fix a lot of the waiting, finance dept issues, etc. She was good, but everything else was horrible. After 2 weeks since I emailed this and more info to them, I haven't seen a response from this dealer. Would not recommend to my enemy. Horrible experience I regret. More
Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Drove 3.5 hours from Nashville to show up to this pathetic dealership to see a Ford Edge SEL that I thought was going to be in LUXURY condition, at le Drove 3.5 hours from Nashville to show up to this pathetic dealership to see a Ford Edge SEL that I thought was going to be in LUXURY condition, at least the professional photos (that weren't really the car I went to see) lead me to believe that...much to my surprise, the vehicle was the exact opposite of the word luxury. This Edge (which is still currently for sale at the dealership) was in very poor condition for only having around 18k miles...there were several scratches, both repairable/buffable and many that had to be touched up....there was overspray on a lot of the vehicle...passenger door didn't shut correctly and there appeared to be some kind of cover up around the door handle, like there was damage of some sort, the front moulding was severely cracked as if someone ran into a wall, the rear bumper moulding looked as though a dog chewed through it...chunks were missing out of the chrome wheels....much more...much more folks. I had asked my salesman, Felix, to check the condition for me before the trip was made, and was told it was in excellent condition and even smelled great inside. I offered to put a deposit to hold it, but he said he would hold it cuz there wasn't much business...which he did hold it. You would think that the salesman would have the car detailed/cleaned, especially if he knew we were serious buyers...we even negotiated a trade amount before I made the trip...but no. The car was very dirty, had white stuff all over the place, door jams...just everywhere....then Felix, before we even saw the car apologized for not cleaning it...said the cleaning crew didn't show up that day. Poor excuses. So...based on overall poor condition of the vehicle, there was no chance of a sale...Felix knew it as we were calling out all of the items wrong with it...he seemed embarrassed/ashamed...as he should have...but...they still did an evaluation of my vehicle...in which the finance guy did the appraisal....never once made eye contact with me...and as I saw him drive off on his test ride, it was if he were given free admission to a NASCAR race...he gunned my vehicle with all the pedal there was...needless to say, that infuriated me too. So...we are ready to leave back to nashville...and Felix comes out and informs me that they were willing to give me exactly what I wanted for my trade...and of course, he knew, but I told him again, NO DEAL. That car was going to need at least 2500-3500 in work to get it back to normal. So, we get in my car, I put it in reverse, and Felix knocks on my door and says, "if we give you another thousand for your trade, would you do the deal?" Keep in mind folks, I DIDNT EVEN DRIVE THE CAR I WENT THERE TO SEE. It's sad that a dealership would try to pull of these types of shenanigans in this day and time...I hope the better business bureau knows of Marietta Luxury Motors poor unethical standards of sales. Gross. More
