BUYER'S REMORSE The salesman with whom we had an appt declined to see us and referred us to another salesman by the name of Dakkari. Dakkari was very nice, friendly, but rather pushy. Before we knew what was going on he "decided for us" that the car we were interested in "was not for you". We are a retired couple living only on Social Security and a small retirement fund. Not only do we need a car that is economical but one which we could pay off quickly. We went to see a 2010 VW convertible, but without even giving us the option, he pulled up a 2016 Hyundai Elantra with a price tag of more than double what we would have paid for the VW. He convinced us that for the same monthly payments "we could get a better, more reliable car". Soooo, now we are stuck with payments for another 5 years. Yes, we can accept our own responsibility in agreeing to a more expensive car, but Dakkari should be noted for his "friendly strong-arm sales tactics". We had done our homework and researched the VW that we wanted on Edmunds.com (and others) and had agreed to a deal of $3000/down and monthly payments of $150.00, but Dakkari essentially threw those forms in the trash and told us that the "engine light" was on in the VW and he "couldn't in all good intentions sell us a car that would not last". My question is, if the car we had wanted was "no good", why then, was it on the lot? More

The staff was awesome, treated me and my husband like family. They provided someone to go over all buttons and gadgets in the car.
