My partner purchased a vehicle that had the check engine light on. The dealer said it was “a known, small issue,” and would be rectified upon picking up the vehicle, but did not do so. When this was brought light on. The dealer said it was “a known, small issue,” and would be rectified upon picking up the vehicle, but did not do so. When this was brought up, the dealer said the vehicle has to be brought to the manufacturer dealership under warranty. After doing so, we were informed that the vehicle has sludge in the engine. When we brought the vehicle back to 5 star, they refused to accept accountability for this error. However, the did let us know they flushed the sludge out of the engine and changed the oil twice, confirming the problem. After consulting with a lawyer, we were advised this case is likely to be risky/pricey in court, so I’m just reaching out to do what I can to warn other buyers!!! More

Well first of the reason you don't is because you're adding an extra ten thousand to the value of a vehicle. The other thing is the "Nickle Pickel sale" they say a nickel and they truly mean five hundred dollars. Sorry but if you advertise anyone can drive for a nickel down don't be surprised when people bring a nickel in. Fair is fair. Honor your advertising!!! More

Sold me a broken ford explorer was running fine until I made it home which is about 11miles then check engine light came on took it to mechanic shop next day they said the code had been cleared misfiring c made it home which is about 11miles then check engine light came on took it to mechanic shop next day they said the code had been cleared misfiring cylinder 3 took the vehicle back next day and demanded they give me my trade in car back and kill the deal as their mechanic admitted they cleared the code and offered to clear it again and in 30 days I could get it fixed with their warranty. SCAM BUYER BEWARE got my car back and killed the deal now I caught a flat tire and wouldn’t you know it my wheel lock is missing from the center console where it’s always been. 5star is a 1star company and have no problem selling you an overpriced broken vehicle stay clear. More
