We brought our vehicle in for a host of bizarre problems that were quite troublesome, not to mention downright frightening. Rex was very patient and attentive while we described, in detail, what was going on with the van. He was also friendly and polite and made us feel validated in our concerns (they were serious!). Rex kept us updated about the status of the service visit, as promised, and went above and beyond by performing some brake maintenance, free of charge, and washing the vehicle (it was filthy!). Furthermore, when he saw us pull into the parking lot to pick it up, he immediately brought it around for us, rather than having us wait. We've dealt with Rex numerous times for other (warranty-covered) issues and have always been met with the same degree of helpfulness, courtesy and respect. My experience with the service department has been excellent although I have rarely used the service department for anything but routine maintenance since the vehicles have never needed anything but routine maintenance, that's a good thing. As far as the negotiation for price, payment, lease or buy I have always walked away knowing I obtained the best deal possible. There is some of the "old" Cochran left when it comes to the negotiation, take some, leave some, what's your bottom line, what do you want your payment to be. Some dealers just want to cry on your should and tell you there is no markup, we barely get by, not Cochran, they want to negotiate and sell vehicles!! Today was no exception, your personnel were there to sell me a vehicle and did what was needed for you to make a profit and for me to again drive away with a new vehicle knowing the price was fair and honest.
