VEHICLE OVERVIEWMiles per Electric Charge: 26The 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV Preferred is a new plug-in hybrid three-row SUV, marking Mazda's entry into the electrified large SUV segment. It blends Mazda's premium design and driving dynamics with the efficiency of a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It's powered by an e-SKYACTIV®-PHEV powertrain, which combines a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a 68 kW electric motor.The CX-90 PHEV Preferred has an EPA-estimated all-electric range of 26 miles on a full charge from its 17.8 kWh (usable) lithium-ion battery. When operating as a hybrid, it achieves an EPA-estimated 25 MPG combined (gasoline only) or 56 MPGe combined (miles per gallon equivalent). Charging the battery on a 240V (Level 2) AC charger takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.Inside, the 2024 CX-90 PHEV Preferred offers a spacious cabin with standard three-row seating for up to seven or eight passengers (depending on configuration). Standard features include leather-trimmed seats (first and second row outboard positions), heated front seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat with power lumbar, a 4-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and a power sliding-glass moonroof.
