1984 Land Rover Defender

This 1984 former Royal Military Land Rover Defender 90 has been converted to a fun and exciting street and off roading going Landie. Finished with a Green exterior and Black interior. The odometer rears 161,053 although the underpowered 200TDI engine was replaced in 2019 with a 4.0 Liter V8 Gas Engine with just over 60,000 miles on it. At this time an automatic transmission was also installed. Other modifications and improvements include Right Hand Drive, Added Spring Suspension, Full Body Internal and External Roll Bar Setup, Defender 90 Wheels Painted Black, Removable Roof, Interior Rear Covered with Diamond Plating, Heavy Duty Roof Rack and Ladder, ARB Brush Guard with ARB Lights, Fold Down Rear Seating, Cargo Netting and much, much more. This Defender 90 does run and drive very well although it will need a bit of TLC to make it really function properly. The 8 cylinder engine is strong and powerful and the automatic transmission shifts properly through all of the gears. The steering (Right Hand Drive) is tight and the brakes feel just great. This really happens to be a fun Land Rover to drive. The interior is very nice. The front seats are in excellent condition (see pictures) and the rear compartment does have bench seats and full diamond plating as well. The exterior is what really sets this particular D90 apart from the rest. The Dark Green paint is in very nice condition (see pictures) with no major dents or dings anywhere at all. The paint is bright and shiny with plenty of luster. Add the optional wheels mounted on great tires, roof racks, bars and lights and this D90 really does look special. The Land Rover Defender 90 really is the ultimate and most iconic sport utility vehicle. It has timeless looks, great performance, 4 wheel drive for all weather and road conditions, a removable top for summer fun along with all of Land Rover's legendary safety and craftsmanship. This D90 does have a few needs that could be addressed. Some of the extra lights are not powering on, there is some of the typical corrosion here and there (see pictures) and a few other odds and ends.
