Raised bumpers and headlamps ensured the new car met increasingly stringent safety standards in the US. The hood handle's size was increased for ease of use while front vent windows increased passenger comfort. Redesigned rear seats and a new steering wheel refreshed interior styling. Performance-wise, the company introduced larger brakes and updated motors. The traditional pushrod flat-4 was now offered in three outputs: the standard with 60hp, a Super with 75hp, and the range-topping Super 90 with 90hp. While exceptionally well-heeled buyers could specify the DOHC flat-4 racing motor in the Carrera 2, enthusiasts who desired a quick and reliable sports car were better served with one of the Super models. The same holds true today, which is why 356 Super 90s are well-regarded by enthusiasts and investors alike. The superb 1963 Porsche 356 B T6 1600 Super Cabriolet featured here is finished in stunning Ruby Red over a Black leather interior with a matching folding convertible soft top. This exquisite motorcar has been beautifully restored to show-quality standards and is now ready for its next caretaker. This investment-grade Porsche was sold new in Hollywood, California and was upgraded in period with a highly desirable 356 SC performance engine and disc brakes, making this the perfect Porsche to add to any premier collection. Offered to the most sophisticated collector, investor, or enthusiast who understands and appreciates invest potential of this rare and sought-after model!
