HIGHLIGHTS: SPECTACULAR, AWARD-WINNING RESTORATION MULTI-SHOW WINNER & TWO-TIME DEARBORN AWARD WINNER AT NATIONAL EARLY FORD V-8 CLUB MEETS JUST RELEASED FROM A WORLD-CLASS COLLECTION SIMPLY ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES ON THE MARKET TODAY THE MOST DESIRABLE YEAR AND BODY STYLE FOR THE FORD V-8 ICONIC COLOR COMBINATION NUMEROUS ACCESSORIES AND OPTION ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS EXAMPLE RECENT SERVICE DRIVES AND PERFORMS AS NEW EXTREMELY RARE AND DESIRABLE UNMODIFIED EXAMPLE TREMENDOUS INVESTMENT POTENTIAL A COLLECTOR'S DREAM OPTIONS INCLUDE: THREE-SPEED MANUAL TWO-TONE BODYWORK REMOVABLE SOFT TOP SIDE MOUNTS SPARE TIRES WOODGRAIN DASH RUMBLE SEAT Despite only being available for a few short years, Ford managed to sell well over three million Model As before the market demanded an update. The company was quick to respond with a completely redesigned car, the Model B and Model 18 (the latter renamed the Model 40 in 1933/34) twins. As expected by the name, the Model B was the direct replacement with an updated four-cylinder, but the exciting news lay with the Model 18 and is revolutionary V8 - the first low-priced, mass-marketed vehicle to come so equipped. The cars were an immediate hit, with the Model 18 quickly outselling its lower-powered counterpart. A wide variety of body styles were available, ranging from a family-friendly station wagon to a performance/fashion-oriented roadster. The cars were also extremely popular with hot rodders due to their relative simplicity and easily improved performance. Today, unmodified and high-quality examples are few and far between and are therefore of more value to collectors. Naturally, some body styles are more readily available than others. The roadster, for example, was only produced in 6,893 examples, so finding one in original, well-maintained form is increasingly rare. These cars are remarkably quite easy to drive, with V8 models being readily able to attain (and hold) 50+ mph and, unlike the Model T, offer a familiar pedal arrangement. The spectacular 1932 Ford Model-18 V-8 Deluxe Roadster featured here is finished in classic Old Chester Grey over a Brown leather interior and Tan convertible top. This investment-grade Ford V-8 is among one of the best examples on the market today, as proven by its various show wins, which include two national Dearborn awards. Just released from a world-class collection, this Model-18 Deluxe Roadster is ready for its next caretaker and is offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own one of the very best at an investment price!
