He helped my husband pur I just have to say I had the best experience at Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, Our salesman, Dhimitri Lako, was fantastic! He helped my husband purchase a Tacoma Pro and Dhimitri Lako and the General Manger, Dan Bortolussi, went above and beyond to get my husband the truck he REALLY wanted! They had told us it could be 3 months before Jim saw his truck but within 48 hours the truck was at the showroom in Auburn. We had such a great experience that I ended up purchasing a Rav4. I am so excited. They made it all come together for us, They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made the process simple. Terrible experience Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, MA is staffed by liars and people without ethical integrity. I negotiated the price of a new Toyota Tacoma on-line, a Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, MA is staffed by liars and people without ethical integrity. I negotiated the price of a new Toyota Tacoma on-line, and then went into the dealership to discuss the details. My salesman was John Bellofatto, who was generally nice and apologetic about everything that I am about to describe. So, I negotiated the terms of the lease aggressively, and came to an agreement with Stephane Jovin(Sales Manager). At this point, I was transferred to Shawn Merrick (Finance Manager), who brings up the paperwork and shows me a monthly payment based on purchasing the truck at full MSRP of $34.5k, instead of the negotiated price of $31k. When I proceeded to explain that this was not right, he called in his boss, the General Sales Manager, who tried to make it seem as if I was confused and didn’t understand basic math (I’m a mechanical engineer), and also couldn’t understand why I was upset about this. So, magically the numbers changed and they brought the monthly payment down to what had been agreed. So, I signed the lease agreement and the State of MA vehicle purchase contract and left the dealership to wait for a call when my truck was ready. They called back 5 days later, saying I had to come in and “re-sign the lease agreement”, which is a classic car dealer scam if you google that phrase. So, I go in, and after waiting for over an hour, Stephane Jovin(Sales Manager) comes over and tells me that the lease didn’t get approved by the financing company, so they need me to sign a new lease for $100 more per month. I asked him: “So, you filled out all the information for a lease agreement and a purchase contract and signed it without running my information through the leasing company?” and he says “Oh well, I guess that was a mistake on our part”. To which I replied “What I know is that the State of MA Vehicle Purchase Contract that you signed is a legally binding contract and any attempt on your part to not honor it constitutes a breach of contract, so you have two options: 1. Give me the deal I negotiated, without any changes, or 2. I contact my lawyer and sue the dealership for breach of contract”. So, he walks away, and talks with his boss, the General Sales Manager), and then comes back over and says “We called up the dealership General Manager (Dan Bortolussi), and he agreed to take a loss (what a joke) on the truck and honor the original contract…as if they are doing me a favor. So, not only are the folks at Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn, MA dishonest, they also engage in illegal activity to try and trick people into new contracts. I’m lucky I did my research and realized the scam they were trying to pull. Do not give them your business; they are highly unethical and a bunch of xxxx bags. More

They offered the best price and the most for my trade in. The price of my new suv minus my trade in equalled out to be the lowest number by far. I love my 2015 sr5 premium 4runner. Good gas mileage for a suv that sits high on a truck chasse, very smooth ride and a beautiful interior. Dan, kennedy and stephane could not have been nicer. The whole process, even signing the paperwork was made so easy and quick, yet they explained everything and answered all my questions. I live an hour from the dealership and it is well worth the drive. Their actions show that they care, they understand ur going to spend hard earned money so they make sure ur informed on every detail and that the car u buy is the right fit for u. More
