Fantastic! I was concerned about finding a new car on such short notice after I was hit less than 2 weeks ago and my old car was totaled. A friend of mine recommended that I go see Sergio and the first time I called him he was already on it! He understood my situation and that I needed a car as soon as possible. He was able to get me the exact car I wanted in the price range that fit my budget (which was especially impressive to me being that I had not prepared my finances to get a new car so suddenly). Sergio had my car ready for me in the matter of 2 days! When I arrived at Salerno Duane to sign my papers Jeff explained everything to me very clearly and there were no hidden fees ANYWHERE. I was expecting this experience to be very high stress for me, but Sergio and Jeff made the process so easy. I would recommend them to anyone and would go there again in a heartbeat! Thank you guys!! Ovalle is a great sales rep selling a great product. I was transitioning from a Mercedes SUV into a 4-Door Jeep Rubicon. I wanted to drive something that was fun, American made, without compromising too much on luxury or comfort. Sergio addressed my concerns, provided me with a fantastic vehicle (the exact vehicle I wanted) at a great price with no nonsense or haggling. I had done a great deal of research on the vehicle and pricing prior to going to the dealership, so I knew that the price Sergio gave me was extremely fair. It was a painless experience. I strongly recommend that if you are looking for a Jeep or a Chrysler vehicle that you see Sergio -- there is no one else with whom I would rather deal. More

PLEASE DISREGARD MY PRIOR GOOD REVIEW & READ BELOW Sergio was great in helping me get my new car which is why I decided to write him a great review. The way I have been treated since then is disgusting. First of all I was supposed to be credited the $100.00 deposit I gave on the car and still haven't been and it's safe to say I won't be. Sergio told me to follow up with him about the deposit which I did but never got a response after numerous calls and emails. I leased a brand new 2014 jeep Cherokee the beginning of February. In the past 2.5 months my brand new car has been in the shop twice (both times for 5 days). Both times the check engine light came on and my car wouldn't go past 30. The first time it happened I called the Salerno Duane dealership in Summit where I got the car and they told me they couldn't see it for another 5 days and they didn't have a loaner for me. I said I have a 2.5 year old daughter how can I drive this car when it's unsafe. They didn't care. I took my car to Autoland on Route 22 and they were beyond accommodating. I called Sergio to tell him how upset I was that my brand new car was in the shop and he told me to call him when I got it back so that he could arrange for his dealership to look at it as well and he would set me up with a loaner. Well 3 calls and numerous emails later Sergio still hasn't responded. Since then my car has been in the shop again. Knowing that Sergio could care less about getting back to me I decided to call the manager, I don't even know his name bc he was so short with me on the phone that he interrupted me mid sentence and said he would get back to me. It's been 3 weeks now and nothing. This dealership clearly only cares about making a sale. It's so upsetting to be treated this way especially since I was a great customer, walked in didn't haggle and signed my paperwork the next day. Sergio was so nice and friendly to me that day and I still can't believe that even after I wrote him such a nice review that he would treat a customer like this. Even if there was nothing he could do, it's common courtesy to call me back or respond to my emails. I clearly stated to Sergio and the manager that I have a 2.5 year old daughter and bought this car so I can feel safe in it and was concerned that the check engine light kept coming on in a brand new car but they could care less. I'm not the type of person to write stuff like this but I felt I had to write it since I wrote that other nice review. I would never want anyone else to get treated the way I have. More

The in-town dealership appealed to us, we were not disappointed. Sergio was very helpful from the beginning.From my first inquiry to the delivery he was personable, knowledgeable, and most professional. The same is to be said about Jeff who was most helpful when there was a glitch that seemed unresolveable. We are extremely pleased with our Grand Cherokee and as an aside, roadside assist was absolutely great. More

I have never felt more comfortable in a car dealership than I have at Salerno Duane Chrysler Summit. Sergio listened to what I told him my needs were and helped me to choose an exeptional family car (Tow than I have at Salerno Duane Chrysler Summit. I had the absolute best experience in all of my years of leasing through Chrysler. It has been 17 years and this time ( February 17, 2014) after a prior visit 1 week earlier, I had to take this burden on my leasing through Chrysler. It has been 17 years and this time ( February 17, 2014) after a prior visit 1 week earlier, I had to take this burden on my own as a recent widow and went to Salerno Duane in Summit for the first time for sales (prior visits were for service) and I met Sergio Ovalle and I immediately felt safe and comfortable! I thought there was going to be a catch. He was considerate , patient , kind and gentle and very honest. I had dealt with OTHER dealerships for the previous years and it was such a stressful experience because it was so obvious that there was this urgency to up~sell and always a feeling of insecurity about what "line" was next. I wish every friend and family member I have will go to see Sergio Ovalle and Michael Cohen at Salerno Duane in Summit ......mostly because they eliminated all of that "secret meeting upstairs" debacle. Everything was pretty upfront and timely. I highly recommend SALERNO DUANE OF SUMMIT , N.J. AND IF YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO MEET SERGIO OVALLE....YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! I have rated Sergio Ovalle with all 5's because he was professional, honest, knowledgeable and made my experience at Jeep a pleasurable one. I was able to come to the dealership and sign and drive the same day all because everything Sergio told me over the phone was the same thing in person, no haggling, no unseen fees, no trying to change the numbers (these were problems I've had in the past with the Honda dealership). Sergio was very professional and explained everything to me in detail. I couldn't be happier with the customer service he provided me and with my new Jeep. I will be recommending Sergio Ovalle to everyone. More
