Further, after they had my car for over 24 hours, I called to see why I hadn't been contacted yet (the problem was just the check engine light). The guy on the phone said they needed more time to get to the bottom of the problem. Well, ends up that the check engine light was just an emissions valve; they needed more time to come up with additional problems that are just normal wear and tear and are not urgent. I told them via text I was going to get a second opinion and asked when I could pick up the car. No response of course, so the next day I went in to pick it up. They had it torn apart and I had to wait over an hour in the freezing waiting room to get my car back. Total ripoff and embarrassing lack of communication.
