Mr. Vlad12204741212, You Took your vehicle to us on October 15, 2025, at vehicle odometer reading of 5,973 miles, reporting that the collision warning light was coming on and off. The technician performed a scan, which identified codes related to the front bumper-mounted distance sensor. Upon inspection, a visible connector for the distance sensor was found to be damaged. The service advisor accompanied you to the shop to show the damaged wire. It was explained to you that the repair is not covered under warranty, as there is no manufacturer defect; You were advised to contact your insurance provider for assistance. However you declined further repairs at that time and took possession of the vehicle. during our visual inspection we noticed you had an aftermarket device installed near the front windshield camera but there was no mention of any issues with it. As we recall you than returned on October 23, 2025, at 6,054 miles, reporting that the cruise control was not functioning after repairs were performed at an external workshop. You were informed that if the issue is related to external repairs or previous wiring harness damage, it would not be covered under warranty. However, any manufacturer-related defect would be covered at no cost to the customer. You than stated that you were unable to drop off the vehicle and planned to return on October 28, 2025, to proceed with the repairs.
