I called the service dept to make an appt to get a recall on my car fixed. The first person I talked to said the part was not available yet so I asked to speak to someone who could give me more information a on my car fixed. The first person I talked to said the part was not available yet so I asked to speak to someone who could give me more information as I had received a letter saying the recalled parts were in stock. When I found out that the parts were available, I made an appt to get my car fixed. When I arrived at the dealership, I was informed that in order to fix my car I could only have 1/4 tank of gas or less - since the part needing to be replaced was the fuel pump! I had almost a full tank of gas, so I now have to reschedule my appt when my gas tank gets down to 1/4 or less. My complaint: Why was I not informed of this stipulation by the service dept when I made my appt?? Not everyone knows these things and should be told so an appt is not a waste of time for all concerned. I just hope when I finally get my gas tank down to 1/4 or less, the part is still available. I got the first recall notice in Feb 2024 and have been waiting for the dealerships to get the parts in for almost a year now. I’m just not a very happy customer right now. More

I’ve bought or leased the last 4 cars I’ve purchased at Tower Honda Longview. I will not be purchasing anything else from this dealership.
