Our journey began in December of 2023 when the truck was brought in for three recalls. A software update, high pressure fuel pump and tailgate latch replacement. The latch was the only part replaced. App brought in for three recalls. A software update, high pressure fuel pump and tailgate latch replacement. The latch was the only part replaced. Apparently there is no software update available yet and the HPFP needed to be ordered. There is a national shortage and dealerships are only able to order a few a month. Jump to March. Called them for an update and the fuel pump was never ordered. Was told they would get it ordered that day and call back with an update once it’s in. No call back by the end of May so I reached out and was told the truck would need to be brought back in so they can confirm that the fuel pump is needed. It’s a national recall and the truck was already seen so this is absolutely ridiculous at this point. Spoke with manager who stated he would get it ordered without having to bring it back in. Now we’re in July and called again for an update… again our records did not show the pump ever being ordered. The service writer stated she would get it ordered that day. Now we’re at the end of September 2024 and called again PART WAS NEVER ORDERED. Service records showed none of this and no updated information. Spoke with a manager again and confirmed it would be ordered and they would call us back in a week or so once it comes in. Low and behold the next time we called (a week later it was in) and an appointment was scheduled for today (October 3rd 2024) and a loaner vehicle will be provided since it was a recall. I arrived at the dealership for drop off and met our new service writer (stated he’s been here a month) who confirmed the HPFP was in. New problem is that the woman who handles the loaner vehicles was not in so I could not be provided one. I was told I would get a call tomorrow (October 4th to bring it back and a loaner would be ready as long as the lady who handles that comes in) Friday came and went and again no call. So if the person who handles loaners is out, half the dealership apparently comes to a halt and they stop taking in vehicles because no one else is capable of setting up a loaner. So here we are, 10 months later with absolutely no resolution to a recall and some of the worst customer service I’ve had with any dealership. At this point I have escalated this to dodge corporate customer service as well as the FCA Customer Assistance to open a case. For anyone else who is having issues with this dealership, I urge you to call the FCA at 1-800-992-1997 and open a case as well. More
