I actually live 20 minutes from a dealership but never received the promptness and courtesy as I receive here @ Universal Nissan. From maintenance to salesmanship and everyone else that works there you’re made to feel at home. All work received was done in a professional and timely manner, and appointments are readily accessible when I need them. I feel like family when I’m there and definitely well respected. More

I highly recommend avoiding this dealership. In July, I traded in a 13 year old Nissan truck for a new Rogue. The new car had several problems (broken side window retract mechanism, broken dome light assembly, and a bad battery). Took 3 service appointments to resolve. After waiting 3 weeks for the 3rd appointment, the service department cancelled my appointment with just 2 days notice (scheduled technician was no longer available and all other technicians fully booked). I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that George Maicais would call me back. He did not do so. Was only able to reinstate the appointment after complaining to a sales manager (Alex). After 2 of the 3 repairs, I was sent videos confirming completed work. One showed someone else’s car. One showed confirmation that my tires were good (???) with no reference to the window mechanism repairs. Makes me wonder what work was actually performed on my car. After the 3rd visit, the AC fan failed. Because of so many problems with this new car, I asked to speak with a service manager. The service rep, John, said his manager Jorge would call me back. But, Jorge did not do so. At this point I have no intent to return to this dealership and I am hesitant to ever purchase another Nissan product. More

The service team does not help any of their customers! Every time I get my car serviced it comes back with a whole new problem, then when bringing it to the staffs attention they treat you with no respect Every time I get my car serviced it comes back with a whole new problem, then when bringing it to the staffs attention they treat you with no respect and are not willing to help correct the concern. And please never mention warranty to the service staff its like they hear that word warranty and send you away without considering to help the issue! WORST customer service department I have encountered I think I need to go to another company and get rid of this Nissan I have now! More

Robert Hillseth tried to tell us it is just the battery after we explained it was just checked and was fine. SUV kept dying after parked for 10 minutes. Verified by Robert as he tried to start it when we got to the dealership. 4 hours later Robert called and said it was a Main 140 amp Fusable link that was the problem. and it was over $200 parts and labor. After arguing with him that the vehicle would not run at all with that fuse blown and one of his techs must have jumped it wrong and caused the damage to get into the service bay. Robert was done with talking with me and handed me over to Jorge Macias. The next day Jorge called to say the vehicle was ready and the total was over $500 with the Diagnostics and computer reprogramming. He finally admitted they must have caused the Fuseable link damage because the vehicle COULD NOT HAVE RUN to get it in the service bay, and took it off the bill. He still charged me for the Diagnostics and not the computer reprogramming. There is a known issue with this year vehicle that draws a parasitic drain on the battery. This should have been covered by the dealership and passed on to corporate Nissan, not the consumer. You own the car when you buy it but the computer software always belongs to Nissan. They are responsible to provide a bug free application and update it as necessary at their cost. A 4 year old $65000 SUV should not have these issues. To be treated like a tool by the service department and have them not own up to their mistakes. I wonder how many other people have been scammed by them into parts and service that was not necessary. GENERAL MANAGER: Please look me up on the service report, I would love to talk about this. it was dropped off for service on 05/07/2022. We were told you would not talk to us when we were there. More
