I made this a very easy transaction for everyone involved since I did some research after our last Lexus dealership in OC had a terrible employee handle Loyalty Clients. We have leased a previous Lexus at Jim Falk at their previous location in 2019, but it was not a great deal. This time around I made a reasonable, but aggressive proposal to internet sales team. Em Hakopyan was the one who reached to my proposal. 3 emails and 1 phone call to confirm- we had an agreement in place. Another GM recommended that I get the deal in writing with exact figures before making the drive to BH as they have a reputation upon arrival that it wasn't the same deal. I asked for it in writing and deal sheet PDF was emailed. When we arrived at the dealership, the car was not yet prepped- which was my preference so that they would not put any sealants or wash the car as it was going to be sent to my detailer for ceramic coating. Time is $ so tried to make everything as efficient as possible. Em showed us the actual car in person. And then, we were sent to finance to sign the papers. However, the pre-incentive selling price was not what we had agreed. Nancy needed to get management to review. This is when John Kim, GSM came in. I showed him the text messages from that morning to be sure that it was indeed the actual deal that we agreed upon. He even came to say well done and revised the contract. Minor hiccup that was handled so pretty efficient for non-broker deal. Signed in early Sept 2023. Lexus doesn't lease well these days, but since we had positive equity on the last one- it made sense for us to get a new one while MF/interest rates were high. Happy with the deal and will hopefully be able to get some future aggressive, efficient deals as multiple repeat customer when this one is up in 3 years. More
