Porsche. I took my 2019 Porsche Cayenne in look at my AC system which was not getting cool. They said I need a new AC evaporator core and quoted me

They even charged me almost $300 to diagnose it which consisted of a 20 sec video showing a gauge attached to the system. I complained to Gavin but got nowhere. It’s doesn’t seem fair or right.

During your visit, our team followed the manufacturer’s recommended diagnostic procedure, which involves removing the refrigerant and introducing a gas to detect leaks using specialized equipment. This is a detailed and time-intensive process. The 20-second video provided highlights the leak detection itself, but does not reflect the full time spent diagnosing the concern.
Unfortunately, we were unable to secure any goodwill assistance toward the repair, and we understand the cost associated with this model year can be significant.
