Thank goodness for face to face customer service I would have recommend you and given five stars but the overall experience was bad. I made my appointment online and the customer service was downhill I would have recommend you and given five stars but the overall experience was bad. I made my appointment online and the customer service was downhill until I got to the shop. I received an email confirming my appointment and then like two days later I got another email saying to expect a call. I never got a call. So I called to confirm my appointment and once I finally got someone on the line I was transferred several times. And then I was forwarded to a voice mail so I hung up. When I got to the shop they didn't have my information for my appointment and I had to give them all my info again and pray that they had all the parts. Thank goodness for Chris. He was nice, understanding and got me out faster then expected! Your service number and online appointment feature suck! The information entered online doesn't transfer to the shop. More

When I picked up the car it had been cleaned and was charging, which was a very nice gesture. The car they supplied during the service could have been a bit nicer, it was very basic, but frankly it was kind of fun to drive around in a smaller car for a few days, and I believe they do have a range of cars in their fleet, but you are beholden with what they have available at the time. All in all, exceptionally well organized and helpful. A very professional experience. More

Above and beyond I use Ted Britt for all of my maintenance. Just recently I was hit with a major repair that was going to cost me thousands of dollars. Chris in Serv I use Ted Britt for all of my maintenance. Just recently I was hit with a major repair that was going to cost me thousands of dollars. Chris in Service went above and beyond in easing my stress levels and keeping me calm and also by suggesting ways to save me money. In the end, he was able to convince General Motors to pay a majority of my repairs. I never would have thought of contacting them and the fact that he made the suggestions AND called them also made me so happy. I was able to afford the repairs and get back to my car ASAP! I feel like I'm at home at Ted Britt in Sterling. They are so kind, patient and friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else! More

Continuous water leaking after heavy rain After purchasing my Saturn Outlook XR in Feb. 2008 I continued to have water leaking in the driver, passenger and eventually the backup light sensor i After purchasing my Saturn Outlook XR in Feb. 2008 I continued to have water leaking in the driver, passenger and eventually the backup light sensor in the ceiling for object closeness. This resulted in some cases of the engine not cutting off and other electrical problems and eventually knocking out the navigation and radio that had to be replaced. This issue never fixed while the vehicle was under warranty and things got worse after warranty expired. Carpet and padding underneath was always wet and I eventually had to spend $400 to have them clean it up. This should have never happened. This was under Sterling Chevrolet. Then Ted Britt took over the dealership and things changed immediately. New service manager Tom Linnehan indicated that he was going to fix the problems at no cost to me. He tried. Every time water leaked in the car he said bring it end. It kept happening no matter how hard he and his folks tried to fix it. I got so frustrated that I talked to the new General Manager Jason Fischburn and things really started to change. Tom left and Mike Kohler took over as Service Manager. I told Jason that if the issue could not be fixed I was going sell it to CarMax. A car that I loved except for the water issue. He told me that they would keep trying and the last time I took it in, they kept it for 15 days. Mike Kohler the new service manager, gave me a free car rental, which would have happened if it were still under warranty. Remember that this issue was never resolved during the warranty period. Nevertheless, we have had heavy rain fall since I got my Saturn back. NO LEAKING. That means that I can keep it for a long time since it just turn 30,000 miles last Saturday. I take our Chrysler 300M in for oil change at Ted Britt. Jason Fischburn and Mike Kohler both said we are going to fix this problem and they did. I think they pulled down the overhead and see where the water was not draining, which Jason had indicated that need to be done. I have read some horror story on Edmunds from poor souls who have the problem (drain tubes were to small and not able to remove water coming in from heavy rain around sun roof) some of them were never resolved. If you are in the Northern Virginia area and you have a Chevy or Saturn or any GM car I recommend these guys. Chris Thomas was my service rep at Saturn and he is at Ted Britt Chevrolet. Only one left from Saturn. If we replaced the Chrysler 300M (low miles also and no problems) it would be with a Malibu or Impala. Plus On-Star is OUTSTANDING. No navigation system in any other car can match it. I get fee car wash and state inspection as part of my original contract. I know that if I have a problem with service on my Saturn I have people that I can depend on to resolve it and not be "burned" in the process. No dealer that I have ever dealt with has been as good as Ted Britt Chevrolet in Sterling, Va. More

Chris Thomas has been the service person who has taken care of both Saturns in my family for about 6 years. He is professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind. H has been the service person who has taken care of both Saturns in my family for about 6 years. He is professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind. He takes the time to explain what is wrong with the car, how long it will take to repair it and most importantly the costs for the service. I would like to recommend him to others who are using the Ted Britt of Sterling service department. He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure that I am comfortable with the service. Thanks, Chris. Beth Smith More

My visit included service for my 2008 Saturn Aura XE as well as a test drive of the 2014 Chevy Volt. This review only discusses my service experience. Whenever I go to Ted Britt Chevrolet, I always receive well as a test drive of the 2014 Chevy Volt. This review only discusses my service experience. Whenever I go to Ted Britt Chevrolet, I always receive excellent customer service from either of my favorite service advisors, Chris Thomas or Shawn Wilcox. They make my check in at the service desk go quickly and smoothly. Both Chris and Shawn carefully listen to my service requests and make sure the service requests are accurately transferred to the paperwork that is handed to the mechanic. Both service advisors answer my car questions, explain any repairs, provide an estimate, and ask permission to perform the repairs. I usually wait at the dealership while my car is repaired, and either Chris or Shawn always provide me with update on the status of the car's maintenance. Because both Chris and Shawn are experienced and trustworthy service advisors, I know they only recommend necessary services, especially when the mechanic uncovers an unexpected problem. When I call for a service appointment, both Chris and Shawn will try to schedule my appointment so that my favorite mechanic, Adam, can work on my Saturn. While all the mechanics at Ted Britt Chevrolet are great, I like to have the same mechanic work on my car, so he will become familiar with the car's service history. Few service advisors go so far as to schedule appointments with your preferred mechanic (if they are able to do so). That attention to detail and excellent customer service are two reasons why I like this dealership. I highly recommend my service team; Chris, Shawn, and Adam take excellent care of my Saturn, and keep it running smoothly. More

I purchased a new car from Sterling Chevrolet in 2012. I had two major warranty repairs on my new car during the first month of ownership. As a courtesy, I was given a couple of free oil change coupons for had two major warranty repairs on my new car during the first month of ownership. As a courtesy, I was given a couple of free oil change coupons for my hassle. Shortly after, Sterling Chevrolet became Ted Britt Chevrolet. I tried to use one of the oil change coupons today and was told by Daniel Boling that he would not honor the coupon because they were now Ted Britt Chevrolet. Talk about a total lack of customer service, seriously, they won't honor an oil change coupon that costs them next to nothing. Then, they have the nerve to sign me up for their preferred customer program as I leave. Obviously, the only thing they prefer about their customers is their money. Between their defective cars and lack of customer service, this will be the first and last Chevrolet I purchase. More
