Upon closing on our new Tiguan the financing manager shook my hand and said - "by the way Ohio has no lemon law" Odd thing to say. 24 hours later and 70 miles our car died. Here are the reports: The 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan, including the SE trim, is experiencing significant early reliability issues, primarily centered around turbocharger failures that cause the vehicle to enter "limp mode". Owners have reported severe engine hesitation, cylinder misfires, and stalling. Several reports suggest a potential need for widespread recalls or buybacks. All reports is do not buy this car.
