The Service Department at Basney Honda is exceptional. During my last visit, Brian determined that my push button starter was causing my engine starting problems, instead of the alternator as I thought. H During my last visit, Brian determined that my push button starter was causing my engine starting problems, instead of the alternator as I thought. He advised it was under warranty, and that he had the replacement part in stock. It was quickly installed and I was on my way. I have always been very satisfied with all aspects of Basney Honda, from the service advisors to the mechanics, from the parts department to the customer service desk. More

I could not believe the bill of $369. 82 I received for what I thought was going to be a routine oil change and brake fluid change. I regret that I was talked into a tire rotation I didn’t need (I had one barely a month ago). But that was only a fraction of the bill. I was charged twice the labor for two filters being changed? That’s incredible. I was never warned or updated about the costs incurred for the work being performed. It would have been nice to know what I was to expect before I was stuck with a bill of $369.82. I will never go there for routine maintenance again. More

They always take care of my CRV and go the extra mile to get me in ASAP. My last work was warranty on a battery and I didn't have time to make an appointment. They had me drop the car off when they opened t get me in ASAP. My last work was warranty on a battery and I didn't have time to make an appointment. They had me drop the car off when they opened the next day with the promise they'd work it in. I figured it would be late afternoon before I got a call, which I was OK with. They called me at 11 a.m. and it was done. Can't complain about that. More

Took my 19’ Civic Type R in for a oil change hoping to receive good service from a Honda dealer but was left disappointed and stranded with a crazy bill and a wait for the part. Service manager was less t receive good service from a Honda dealer but was left disappointed and stranded with a crazy bill and a wait for the part. Service manager was less than understanding and immediately placed blame on me and other people instead of taking responsibility for what happened. They told me it happened on installation. If the drain plug bolt was stripped when they removed it initially they would have noticed the marring on the bolt along with the significant shavings that were in the oil catch pan when I personally inspected it. If they were to catch a stripped bolt on removal and then inform me that a previous shop or persons had already done the damage I would have been more than willing to complete pay for the repair, however is not the case. This happened on installation which can only mean it was a result of something their tech did. After finding all of this out I was informed of a 3 day shipping delay or a $80 overnight shipping charge along with no courtesy vehicle to return me home from the service advisor and was handed a initial estimate of over $1000. After talk to the service manager Alan, were able to reach a better resolution that still does not leave me satisfied with the level of service you expect from Honda. Overall this was a complete failure on all levels to take accountability for hurting my property and then leaving me with to foot the bill. More
