Brought my new Civic (10 months old, 12k miles) in for

When I set the appointment they told me it could be up to five hours, so I brought my laptop so I could work while I waited. I guess it was slower than they anticipated because I was out of there in an hour--90 minutes tops. Angel Flores checked me in right away and kept me posted with texts and in-person visits to the waiting room throughout.
Yes, they did a multi-point inspection and Angel tried to sell me maintenance I didn't need, but I only had to decline once and he dropped it. That's all I've ever wanted! I get these people have a job to do, and I don't mind them doing it--as long as they take "no" for an answer.
Same with Joe Hoch. He wandered by and introduced himself and tried to sell me parts or upgrades or something. I declined and he politely left me his card and went on his way. Five stars!
A few months ago I got an email from my original salesman, Erik Chipman, with a birthday voucher for a free specialty coffee from their bistro. This was my first time back since receiving it but they redeemed it without question. Sweet! Five stars for Erik for his contribution to my pleasant morning in absentia.
On my way out Angel offered me a free cookie. Even though I had not spent a dime at the dealership that day. Such a nice touch.
I do think it's a little annoying that this dealership bombards me with requests for reviews after every interaction. But I get that it's a competitive business. And believe me, it's a two way street. I'm ready to uncork a one-star on these guys the moment they give me an excuse.
But today was not that day.
