This is a follow up to a review I left on 6/30/25 After writing my review I decided to do some research. I had to give up on reaching anyone at Platinum Hyundai by phone, because their system is impossible to navigate. The only people you can reach are the sales team and they don't convey messages or apparently know how to transfer a call. So I called the warranty company. After some searching, they assured me that they had disbursed a check to Platinum Hyundai around the end of April. So the check was there, I just had to find someone who would actually communicate with me. I noticed that the previous person that I had emailed had the standard email address format; first initial of the first name, last name @platinumhyundaioftracy. If you go on to the website every employee is listed with their first and last name. So I emailed the owner, VP, GM, and FM. They returned my email immediately. The owner of Platinum Hyundai, Tony Pappas and their new Controller, Alicia Faulkner are incredible, helpful, and kind. I am so appreciative of their prompt service and ability to resolve my issue quickly. Thank you Platinum Hyundai for restoring my belief in your business.

Brandon the sales manager is a very mean, disrespectful and unrealiable perosn. I was in talk with him and John via my cell phone which starts from (312) Chicago #, because we never changed since we moved to California 3 years back. He called me and questioned me why I was using 312 phone #, instead of CA area code. I told him all our friends knew this nubmer for years so we decided to keep. I also tried to provide my office phone # which starts with 626 but he didnt listen. He ended up the call saying "I would pass on this opportunity and please Never call us back, because I don't believe what you said that you are buying for your family. I think you are exporting to other country". I am so furious on this and felt so much insulted. We looked all around in LA, San Diego, Thousand Oaks area, but cannot find a vehicle matches our need: R350 Bluetech, non-black interior, 7-seat, parktronic. And they have one and I called them. Never thought I would be treated like this. It is so unfair and I cannot believe this is how they treated a customer like this. Never go to this dealer, especially this Brandon guy!!!
