Bought a '22 MDX from this dealer in Aug, '21. I chose this dealer because they were the only one, at this time, given the shortage of vehicles, that had the MDX with the tech/adv packages we wanted, in our second color choice and they were only charging $2500 over MSRP (other dealerships were charging $4,000+ over MSRP) The dealership was clean, it was easy to get to, it was cool inside until they closed and turned off the air. I was still in the finance department after closing which the sun beats down on at the end of the day. The staff was friendly. They had air hockey which my wife and teenager kids loved. 4.5 stars, taking off .5 for turning off the air while customers were still there. 5 stars - it appears they use one of each model for test drives so that they could sell you another vehicle that had no test drives on it (ours had like 1.5 miles). I liked that. I don't want a car that's been test driven all over. 5 stars to the staff - all nice, friendly, and accommodating (up to a certain point) 5 stars to the finance department. The guy was nice. They met my comp pricing on add-ons that I wanted. I will complain about car pricing separately. Now, the not so good. 3 stars. They had one finance guy working, so at the end of the day, I was waiting a long time to buy my vehicle, so being there past closing was not my fault. 2 stars - The dealership had two mandatory add-ons - a brake light configuration/part change that flashes your brake lights briefly when you apply them. It's a good safety item in my opinion. Also, they pre-applied Permaplate on every vehicle, forcing you to pay for it. I would prefer to choose for myself rather than have them forced on me so that I could try to negotiate the price or go elsewhere. Not only were they selling over MSRP, but they were forcing items on you and charging a higher premium, getting more profit off of you. I don't like that. 3 stars - While there was a shortage of cars, so not their fault, like every other dealership, they jumped on the band wagon to grab a little extra cash, cashing in on supply and demand at the cost to the consumer. This is the cornerstone of all American business' today (in my opinion) and well within their rights, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. I asked for $500 off the price, it was refused. Basically, they would not budge on anything and I wasn't bringing in a trade-in and I was using Acura (American Honda) financing, so more benefits to the dealership and none to me. 3 stars - I was outside, shooting the breeze with our sales guy after our purchase - nice man - when I happened to notice that the weather stripping around the large moon/sunroof was coming out. I guess whoever was getting the vehicle ready for purchase, or when they were applying the Permaplate before purchase, didn't notice or bother to say anything about that very visible issue. This meant I already had to bring the car back for it's first fix and I hadn't even driven my car off the lot yet. They did give me an MDX loaner car for the warranty work. I did not hate my experience here, I just didn't like the sour taste left behind from some of the less than optimal treatment given the dealership's policies and sales tactics. I originally planned to give them a 3 star review, but if you take the average of what I did score, it's closer to 4.

Purchased a new 2025 Honda Civic and couldn't be happier with Winter Honda. I spoke on the phone with Phil Nazareta after he met with my wife and daughter. We worked out a price on the phone; I will say they wouldn't send it via email (because they didn't want me shopping the offer) but the definitely honored what we spoke about and I couldn't be happier. The whole process was smooth and fast and we know we'll be happy with the new Civic. Definitely worth a call and stopping by. Thanks again Phil!

I have dealt with John and Norman in service for my 2022 Chrysler 300 Limited and everything has been done right. On the sale side, my purchase was easy and they even delivered the vehicle to my home for my wife with a red bow for her to take pictures in our driveway which was a special touch and certainly very appreciative as I did not asked for that but I let it be known it was for her so that was nice. Be careful of what the car salesman say in this dealer. They will pull all kind of tactics to get you buy. The car salesmen told us multiple times that they will get us a 90 day payment delay with the bank, which was never something we even needed or as ask for. But that threw off our expectation of the car payment. When the payments wasn't deducted from our bank, we didn't think too much of it, we thought maybe it was the payment delay mentioned by the salesmen. Sure enough, our cars got repossessed a bit after 90 days, now we have to deal with the mess, fees, and time. Be careful buying here.

The staff was great but the car had several issues I discovered after signing all the paperwork. I know you buy a used car in 'as is' condition, but I have purchased many used cars and never had this happen. I guess I took it on good faith that a dealership would fix broken things and fix egregious cosmetic issues before selling it. I never felt the need to inspect every single thing in a car before, but I guess that's on me. Again, I just had the expectation that a dealership wouldnt sell a used car in that condition for top price.

Absolutely avoid this dealership they will do anything to mislead you. My wife and I were very nervous. They got us to come inside when a negotiated price was fair, but when it went to the finance manager, they changed all the numbers around, slipped in new paperwork, and all new set of numbers, including warranties that we vehemently denied wanting, now we have to get a lawyer. Please avoid nobody needs this in their life.

I have purchased a 2001 BMW Z3 from Cal West Motors last month. It's a nice clean looking, low mile car and came with a clean carfax report. The dealer I had worked with, Brian Casey assured me that there were no issues with the car and that there mechanics do a thorough check of all vehicles before sales. The car drove smoothly and I trusted his word. A few days prior to going back to get my tags and registration from them, I had discoverd paper work from the previous owners mechanic that showed the car had issues that needed attention. upon receiving my tags from Brian, I had informed him of the preexisting issues, all he did was stare at me like a deer in headlights. Mike Casey, whome I belive is his father, came up and asked if there was a problem, in which I had calmly repeated myself adding that I was taking the car to my mechanic and would like to work out some type of compensation. He flat out refused and it was obvious, did not want to discuss it any further. I told him that tey would be getting bad social media reviews and his reply was "do what you have to do" and walked away. After the fact, I had gotten news from my mechanic that the car has a number of additional issues and needs north of $8,000.00 worth of work. More than half of what I paid for the car. This is an ourageus rip off by Cal West Motors. Criminal im my opinion. Will be definitely seeking legal consult on this issue.

I liked the fact Moe kept in contact via text due to at the time our personal lives were very busy. Moe was patient and understanding about what our neees were and what we were looking for in a truck. The people in the back office were very respectful of our time and some of the pressures and stress of purchasing a vehicle where not there.
