I must say, my visit to Hyundai of Anaheim was a pretty interesting experience. Overall, I got a solid deal on the car I purchased and the pricing process was straightforward since my agreement was already in place. I really enjoyed working with Jesse Reese. He was upbeat, eager to help, and honored the price we negotiated over text. Even though this was only his second sale, he carried himself with genuine enthusiasm and a great attitude. The main drawback was the time it took to complete everything. I arrived around 5 pm and didn’t leave until about 8:30 pm. Despite having already negotiated the deal, I waited about 20 to 30 minutes before meeting with the finance team, and when I asked about the delay, a few staff members responded in a way that felt dismissive rather than helpful. The environment also came across as a bit clique-ish, and some of Jesse’s peers seemed impatient with him as he was learning. I understand the dealership recently came under new management and had new systems to adapt to, but there was still plenty of opportunity to make the customer experience stellar. If they embrace a stronger teaching mindset, build efficiency into their process, and foster a more universal culture of positivity and proactivity, they could really turn this place into a powerhouse. Overall, I’d rate my experience a 3.8 out of 5. Jesse was the highlight of the visit, and I’d recommend working with him. With better communication and a more supportive team environment, this dealership can definitely elevate its customer experience.

Last dealership I went to before here could not remove or even lower the added cilajet and extra accesories cost. I give 5 star rating to CardinaleWay El Monte due to the fact that the team really made the process smooth, hassle free and true to what initially agreed upon. Talked to sales rep Christian and the manager on the phone, really proffesional folks, told them I am interested on a specific vehicle and I only have enough to pay everything out the door without the extra optional accesories. They were true to their words, told me "numbers" will not affect how they will make things happen for me and they earned my respect for their word of honor.

This dealership has been my go to service for possibly 9 years. David Ruiz, my service advisor, has taken care of my visits and a great guy. There is ample room in the customer lounge and very clean with snacks and coffee. My car is 10 years old and keep on running until now. This latest service, they took care of me NO CHARGE on parts and labor with free car rental. I amecstatic for a great customer service.

**Dishonest and unprofessional — avoid Jennifer and this dealership** I sold my car to CardinaleWay Hyundai and have full documentation showing they agreed to buy it, signed all the paperwork, and promised to pay off my loan. Jennifer personally inspected the car inside and out, confirmed everything was fine, and completed the deal. Two days later, they suddenly claimed there was a “smoke smell” and “tire issue” things they never mentioned during inspection and tried to void the sale after everything was finalized. They told me they were not going to pay off the loan and even dropped the car back off at my house without warning. If I had tried to return a car two days later, they would’ve laughed and told me to kick rocks yet they think it’s okay to do that to customers. Completely unprofessional and dishonest. I ended up selling the car to CarBeeco in Costa Mesa, who handled everything properly and picked up the car with zero issues. If you value integrity and professionalism, stay far away from this dealership and from Jennifer.

Paint Came Off Days After Purchase - Reasonable Guy

Less than a week with my new car - PAINT IS ALREADY COMING OFF. June 21, 2018 - drove all the way from Fontana to Hyundai Claremont because of its good reviews. Me and my wife knew the car that we wanted - made an appointment a week prior, arrived there at 9am on the day of the appointment, but still took us 6 hours to get the new car. Process was way to slow, but we tried to ignore that fact since we always want to see the good in every situation. Eloi and Reza helped us. Eloi's new and obviously lacks the experience and knowledge about Hyundai cars and its features. We brushed that off, because we liked his drive, his energy, his passion.. so we gave him a chance. We already know all the car's features anyway from reading reviews and watching videos online. Reza is the sales manager who talked to us to get the deal through. We met half way and got a good deal. Although some of the stuff he put in there, like Easycare, wasn't really discussed in full transparency. I had to find out about the coverage online and by calling Easycare. That tactic is, i think, present in most dealers - to sell you things you don't really need or at least agreed to. But what the heck, i said okay since it should give me peace of mind in the long run. BUT.... 2 days later, before getting on the car to go to my office, i noticed that paint on the rear side of the passenger side door was chipping or coming off. I was trying to recall if i did anything to make the paint come off like that. But there was no scratch nor dent whatsoever. I guess the paint quality on that car wasn't as good as advertised - especially for it to chip or come off like that. I called the dealer and they arranged to fix it on the 30th with a rental car service. That should be okay for me not minding the fact that i was still kind of disappointed because of what happened. I just thought to myself that nothing good will happen from being mad or angry at someone or something. 2 days later after my initial call.. i noticed more paint was coming off the edge of the rear side door.. and to me, that was it. That's the last draw. I was trying to call Reza for days now and left him a message, but I never got any call back. And he's always "not in" the dealership. So i went to Eloi, the salesman.. texted and called him about the problem. He was kind enough to reply. I asked about the paint coming off. He said that the paint coming off was due to the people in the body shop department rushing the job, but he'll take care of it. And he pointed out that how could i think that the car wasn't new since the mileage was only 11 miles. I mean, seriously? That is obvious. I told him that i get that the car is new. I get that it only has 11 miles in it. But the quality this dealership is giving its customers is way below the industry standard. I mean, no customer should ever experience something like this on a brand new car. 2 days and paint comes off? You got to be kidding me. AND... doing a half xxx job because worker is on a rush is a lousy excuse for doing it wrong. These guys are professionals. They should do quality check every time before they release cars to customers. That being said, I really like the car. I like the mpg and the savings i'd get from it. But man, these guys in Hyundai seem to not care after they make a sale. Less than a week from the purchase, I get chipped paint??? That's really lousy quality and service. Hyundai Claremont, please have Reza return my call. I believe that customers deserve an explanation and not an excuse. I salute Eloi for taking my calls and text messages... But what is management doing? Man up, guys.
