I drove all the way from Memphis, TN for a 2022 Ford Explorer xx I found online. Throughout the entire process from when I first found the car to when I picked it up, Hakeem, Alex, Marcello, and Ramon were always there to help with any questions or concerns I had. I picked up the car and while I was driving back home a factory defect took the car out of service. They covered my tow back to the dealership for the repair, the repair itself, and a rental car. Phuc and Russel were in communication about the status of the repair, and helped answer any of my questions and calm my nerves. Genuinely the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and I would gladly make the drive again if they had a car I wanted. If you're in the area, I HIGHLY recommend Koons Ford Falls Church. The staff is amazing, helpful, and friendly, and the waiting room coffee is delicious! 5/5

Curtis Ford & Cory Ford did a sensational job helping me. 1st Class service. The Best! I am leaving for a 12 hour drive and the light came on to get my oil changed. Without any hesitation, Curtis - Service Manager took me right in and made sure my car was in tip top shape before my road trip. They rotated my tires, checked the car totally and I drove away with a clean shiny car, new windshield wipers, new battery and feeling like the Most Important Person in the World. I have lived in Mount Airy or the surrounding area my whole life and have never visited this dealership in earnest. That is my mistake. Tom Cassera, Joe DeGiorgi, and the overall team were nothing short of professional, honest, and respectful -- words not often linked to automotive dealerships. I bought a used vehicle that was highly sought after both locally and nationally. During and through the sales process, they honored every word they said to me, and delivered a fantastic buying experience -- not to mention an excellent car. I have one additional item that they owe me from a repair perspective, and I am already set up to have it serviced. Century Ford of Mt. Airy has my highest recommendations.

I had brakes and a water pump repair at Upper Marlboro Ford costing $thousands of dollars: I later heard a cracking noise and paid for diagnostics, I thought it was the brakes - Note: The tire was never removed to check, I was told I had a loose motor mount and possibly a bent tire rod. .Dissatisfied with their $1600+ estimate I took the vehicle to another mechanic where he actually removed the tire and found a heavy duty tie wrap lodged in the tire well from the water pump replacement done there. I am looking for another dealership for service on my 4 vehicles.

Today Nov 6,2025, had an appointment for 8:00am , came here, after 1h and 45min off waiting, they didn't even start checking my vehicle, I ended up scheduling another appointment with another ford dealership. Horrible customer service, choose another location, rude and disrespectful.

Was very impressed with the vehicle as displayed on the web and even put paperwork in sight unseen. It took an additional 4-1/2 hours to finalize everything. Upon arrival the vehicle was parked in front and ready for a test drive. While you would think knowing we were coming in that morning that they would prep the vehicle to showcase it in the best way, This was not the case. A layer of dust was all over the vehicle, making it difficult to walk and review the vehicle. While I understand that this is a used vehicle the passenger door was missing its lock actuator. (Dealer promised to order and install) The mirrors needed to be swapped out, because one didn’t work. The middle rear brake light was broken but operational. (Dealer promised to order and install) The rear door rubbed and made noise when opening, until I adjusted the door. The passenger windows glass is scratched, along with the trim. Again I understand it’s a used vehicle! The Carfax is clean but the front lights have scratches that are consistent with damage from an accident, which I am going to have to replace. There was no movement on the price and I left $600 on the table with my trade. While some will say that’s my fault you are correct. But the vehicle was not purchase ready. Which was disappointing. This is my 2nd used vehicle purchase and I should have done a better job reviewing the vehicle. I don’t regret the purchase. Just feel that with the items we have found after taking it home, that the price should have been adjusted to accommodate these out of pocket expenses.

RE: Collision center. 3 -5 time frame to replace a rear bumper took 8+ days. We had to call as the body shop never contacted us regarding the delay. They said an ordered part was wrong, but didn't know until 6 days after drop off. In person visit yielded no further explanation. Will NEVER use this collision center again. A simple courtesy call regarding the problem would have been much appreciated, but apparently there is no concern for customer service with Ciocca

No excuses, just an apology and real solutions like mobile service and pick-up/delivery options. Deshaun also stepped up and helped me get both my vehicles scheduled for mobile service the very next day. They even provided complimentary service as a goodwill gesture. This is the kind of responsiveness and customer care that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend Malloy Ford of Alexandria.

Bottom line up front: Expect the bare minimum required by contract or law with sub par customer service. Poor experience with DARCARS in Lanham, Maryland and with national Ford Customer Service. Background: I brought my Ford in for transmissions problems covered by extended warranty. The service department did not correctly diagnose all the issues on the first or even second try. On the third try they finally fixed the transmission. I was not provided a loner and only received the bare minimum required rental assistance of 10 days, even though they had my car for 6 weeks (Ford logistics couldn’t move parts quickly), through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. To top it off, I had to move to my new work assignment in Florida while they still had my car. I had to fly back 2 weeks after moving to pick up my car and drive it back down. I’m a single car household so I had to get a rental for the majority of this time…I’m out a few thousand extra dollars in rental fees and flights now because their service department couldn’t fix my car on the first or even second try. And to top it off, even to get the $350 for the 10 days of rental assistance it took them two and a half months to get that to me. I wasn’t expecting 100% coverage of these expenses, but even an attempt at extra coverage would have shown some ownership for their service quality and some compassion/empathy for my situation. I have been a lifelong Ford owner and now I’m questioning why I would want to continue to do business with this organization at any level.

Extending my thanks to Joe Porter and his team at Bob Bell Ford (used car dept). I had a completely hassle-free process today when I went in to purchase a pre owned Hyundai Veloster. I'm thrilled with my purchase. From not getting a gazillion phone calls from the dealership to feeling heard and understood every step through the deal, I can say it couldn't have gone any better. I bought a used car from this place and they told me that would have it detailed before I come to pick it up. I gave them ample time because I told them I could not get a ride right away, that it would be a few days. But when I got there to pick it up, all they did was wash the car and vacuum the interior. Didn't even bother to wipe down the interior or sanitize anything. I know this because there were dirt and stains on all the controls. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT DURING THESE TIMES THAT A DEALERSHIP WOULD ALLOW A VEHICLE THAT WAS SOLD; NOT BE CLEANED INSIDE AND OUT. AT LEAST THEY COULD HAVE USED A SANITIZING WIPE ON ALL THE INTERIOR.
