STAY AWAY! - John P
STAY AWAY!!!! Liars, untrustworthy and lazy!
I recommend staying away from the Wilde Automotive Group. I visited the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram store with the intent to purchase a vehicle. I was connected with salesperson, Brian Osteen. Brian is a prime example of what gives used car salespeople a bad name. Brian is a liar and untrustworthy. I came to a deal on a vehicle with Brian for a certain price with the understanding that the vehicle was a certified used vehicle and still had 3 years bumper to bumper warranty remaining. Some work had to be done to the vehicle and the vehicle had yet to be detailed, so it was decided to pick the vehicle up later that week. Two days later, Brian called and said that he couldn’t certify the vehicle. He admitted it costs the dealership about $500 to certify a vehicle but wouldn’t do anything for me to compensate for no longer buying a certified vehicle. I offered to settle for $500 off original agreed upon price but that was refused also. So, Brian thinks it is ok to promise something then change the terms of an agreement not only without compensation but so he/the dealership makes more as they would no longer be spending the money to certify the vehicle. When asked about an issue with the running boards not working, Brian said “worst case scenario, you have 3 years bumper to bumper warranty”. As it turns out, the vehicle did not have any remaining bumper to bumper warranty and only 3 years remaining on a power train warranty. Not to mention, the lack of attention to detail at this place. The need for the vehicle to be detailed after my test drive was because there was gross substance dried to a couple of the door panels, french fries and melted crayons still on the floor and used napkins/tissues wedged in the seats. When I went back a week later to try and work a deal for $500 less and purchase the vehicle, the napkins were still wedged in the seats and Brian got upset with me implying this was not a big deal and told me to just grab someone else's dirty tissue and take it out. There was also still the dried substance that had been spilled on the door panels. When I confronted Brian about his lies and salesman games, he got frustrated, red in the face and asked if I had been recording our conversations before storming out of the offifce.
