I’ve been a GMC Terrain owner since 2018 and have always been happy with my vehicle. During a recent visit to the service department for my Terrain’s annual inspection, my mom, who is in the market for a new vehicle, scheduled a 10 AM appointment with Carmelle to test drive a Terrain. We arrived at the showroom at 10:03 AM, but no one was present in the showroom or outside to greet us. After wandering around, Mark eventually entered from the far side of the showroom. I mentioned our appointment with Carmelle, and he informed us she hadn’t arrived yet. Despite this, Mark quickly brought around the vehicle we were interested in, allowing my mom to test drive it without even requesting her driver’s license. While Mark was courteous, the lack of engagement from the rest of the team was disappointing. Upon our return, Mark asked if we had any other questions but didn’t follow up beyond that. Two other employees were seated in a nearby glass office but made no effort to acknowledge us. Ultimately, this lackluster experience led my mom to purchase a different vehicle from another dealership that same day. A more attentive and professional approach could have made all the difference.

Lack of compassion, leadership and mechanic knowledge - Lack of Compassion; Frustrated

Purchase the 2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS car and picked it up on 6/2/2016. The car drove well on the test drive(s) and the day I drove it home. The days following my purchase, I started experiencing brake problems on the car. My sales Charles McCord instructed me to return the car and let their mechanics look at the car. 3-4 days later I took the car back and the mechanic claimed he didn't see or hear anything out of the ordinary. Everything was normal. I told him he was incorrect. I do have enough general knowledge about the mechanics of vehicle to know what is normal and abnormal. The mechanic claimed he "greased the brakes/lubricated them" and turned the rotors. That was incorrect because you can not lubricate brakes..............Give it time and the brake dust should go away. FALSE!!!! Less than a week later, the exact same problem. I take it back again; they SUPPOSED to have put new brake pads/shoes on the back of the car because the sound is louder. I did not have to pay for any labor or parts. But I did pay to have the tires rotated and balanced. Everything sounded and looked good after waiting for hours. Once again,here we are on the 3rd week, I am right back with the same problem again; scrubbing and knocking sound coming from the back of the car.. These mechanics at the dealership are CLUELESS on how to properly diagnosis the problem. I called them on the morning of 6/27/2016; telling David for the 3x time about the problem. His solution was he did not know what to tell me, I was basically on my own. He tells me why don't I take it to a mechanic in NC. What??!!! It has not even been 30 days yet!!! David was sarcastic and did not care about me as a customer and the trouble it has brought to me. He did not care. I told him I had contacted NCDMV and Virginia DMV and my bank about the matter and possibly would be returning the car. He did not care. He told me to do what ever I needed to do. No Compassion at all. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. My salesman Charles (Chili) was wonderful but the other salesman and mechanics are horrible!!!!

Went to honey cars on 3/20 and my experience couldn’t have been described as anything less than perfect! I worked with Daniel and he was phenomenal! Very on top of things and professional. About two weeks after my purchase, a light did pop up in my car (it was just a sensor going bad), I got ahold of Daniel and he very quickly got me an appointment with their service team. I know this because I bought my 2004 Audi A4 from them on 11/23/2013 and they wrote a review up here "Pretending" to be me. They are scammers and once they had my money, it was not their problem. My car broke down the night after buying it!!! And all that sweet talk before I bought the car, about them willing to fix any problems was bs. The manager himslef, Shawn, told me to my face that maybe next time I will buy a new car and not a piece of metal from him. He said very disrespectful things to me and shows that he is a womanizer and has to respect for women at all. He basically took advantage of me being a single female trying to buy a car. My cars frame was bent and will not pass inspection. He sold me a TOTALED CAR!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS! I have reported them to the BBB, they will surely be shut down asap!
