I purchased a vehicle from Gateway Houston and my opinion I would stir clear of doing business with this organization. The car at first sight looked like a million dollar baby but upon purchasing it, it has now revealed the beauty and the beast. The sales description of the vehicle was hyped up to the hilt with statements highly inflated and totally inaccurate. A clear case of misrepresentation. I initially requested to test drive the vehicle but it was stated to me that I could not test drive it and if I did then I bought the vehicle. That is the point I should have walked away. They are asking top dollar with hyped up information about the vehicle and you are not allowed to test drive the vehicle? I find that odd. It was not until I requested again that I was allowed to drive the car but only in the parking lot which is NOT in my estimation a true test drive. Not knowing what to expect from the vehicle, the test drive did not reveal the issues with the vehicle that I would have discovered had I been able to take it under highway conditions. And it is only after I had purchased it that the problems with the vehicle surfaced. I attempted to get in touch with the companies that were involved in building the vehicle of which one had gone out of business. The other, I was able to track down a person that had worked with the first shop and had quit and gone to work for the second involved shop in Houston. I got as much information as possible to further evaluate the vehicle and they did correct and finish out some of the issues requiring additional funds. I picked up the vehicle from the second shop and went out for a test drive. The first thing noticeable was the noise of a throwout bearing going out. I was told it was the turbo. Then the second a worrisome issues was coming from the rear end. It was a whining sound indicated wear in the rear end assembly. I was told “I would have to live with it”. Not something I wanted to hear. In accordance with Gateway’s description of the vehicle: “With almost 30 pages of receipts detailing new nuts bolts fasteners seals weatherstrip gaskets jute carpet trim; well you can just about name it - this car now looks and feels fresh from the factory but its way better! If something wasn’t right or didn’t work it was fixed replaced or custom-fabricated.” NOT! I bought the vehicle in December 2022 and I have had 0 moments of pleasure with the vehicle. It has been a real problem in my life. It is presently in an auto shop of which after going on a test drive with the owner of the shop it will require removing the transmission and rear end to locate what is producing the NOT normal issues. Again more $$$$ being applied to the vehicle. Gateway has misrepresented the vehicle badly and proves to me that they do not have the ethics or honesty to back up what they misrepresented. I received the less than 30 pages of invoice from the original owner only after I purchased the vehicle which had I had the documents and a proper test drive before I could have made a more informed decision as to whether to purchase it or not. Again I cannot express my experience with Gateway enough, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GATEWAY! BUYER BEWARE! Signed: Pissed and Upset!

After my 10 year old car required sudden major repairs, I found myself needing to purchase a reliable, low mileage preowned vehicle. I wanted a BMW and was introduced to Kevan Chughtai at Autobaun in Ft Worth. He was fantastic and made a dreadful sutuation a quick, pleasant and do-able exercise. In just a couple of days the right car was found, a trade was agreed upon and the financing was in place, and I was driving my new car! Kevan went above and beyond expectations, was prepared, knowledgeable and availabe for all my concerns and questions. In addition, my service manager, Jason, BMW genius, Ken, and finance manager, Rachel, all did great jobs and made me feel special and well cared for. Best experience ever! Thanks to all.

This car purchased replaces a 2009 Town Car that was totaled in an accident. Although being 4 yrs older, it has 17000 less miles on it and is in a little better condition. Great business ethics. I came across this place 6 months ago when my friend recommended me to their body shop company and i pulled up to the parking lot i noticed that they also sold car and i was on the marked for a vehicle for my 17 year old son. i asked for some information on a volvo xc90 and the manager seem to have an answer for every single question that i had regarding the car. I was looking to only spend around 8k but i wanted something nice for my son so i checked this xc90 up and down and as hard as a look i couldn't find anything wrong with it so I asked to test drive it and was told to please check the vehicle out to make sure i like everything about it because their cars drive the way they look and test drives are basically the last step of the buying processes, which i can see that answer could be taken out of contest by some people but i actually appreciated the fact that this guys were confident about what they are selling and wont allow tire kickers to joyride their cars so kept looking at it and told Jay " lets drive it" they guy was right, It drove perfect, no lights, no vibrations no issues at all so i said " I want it ". On the test drive i notice something on the review mirror that said " we practice haggle free pricing" so when i try to make an offer i was nicely reminded of their policy so I ended up buying the car and now months later i am writing this review because this kind of businesses deserve recognition. thank you very much guys.

My wife and I looked and looked for a car near or below 10k with decent mileage. Pary’s had what looked like the car; a 2014 Chevy Sonic. They showed it to us over FaceTime before we came down. They were friendly and answered all our questions. They wouldn’t haggle but the price was already good. they are family owned. We spoke with the father, the adult daughter Pary (dealers namesake), and the young adult son. They are all super nice. The car is driving really well and we are very pleased. I highly recommend checking them out!

I had transmission work done to my 2007 Cadillac Escalade in 2017 by Quality Care Automotive. I paid $2400 to have the transmission rebuild, well as least I thought. A few months later I was having the same issue. I contacted Quality Care Automotive to inform them I was having the same issue. They sent a flatbed truck to my home to pick up the vehicle, to reevaluate the issue. I receive a phone call, telling me it not a transmission problem, it is something electrical going on with the vehicle. I’m like okay, I just paid $2400 to find out its electrical. I was driving the vehicle every now and then but not far. At the time, I didn’t want to put more funds into vehicle right away, so the vehicle set more than I drove it. I then get deployed and COVID hit, so I’m definitely not driving as much. Fast forward to 2022, as we move out of the pandemic, I decide to take my vehicle to a mechanic, and he tells me it is a transmission problem. I’m thinking how, this transmission only has 6000k miles. He tells me to take is back to Quality Care Automotive. I take it back to Quality Care Automotive to check it out. They call me the next day and tell me; it is definitely a transmission problem. We can fix the problem and honor the price you paid in 2017 which is $2400. To get the transmission fix at today’s price, it would be $3500. I asked why wasn’t if fixed the first time. Their response “Parts go bad”. This is why it is so hard to trust mechanics. Now, I’m thinking was anything ever done to my transmission. Maybe they didn’t drive it long enough to identify an issue and gave it back and said we replace you transmission or maybe they used use parts to fix my transmission. I’ll never know. Definitely wouldn’t go back to this shop and blow $2400

Ins Claim Repair: 0 Stars for taking 32 days to repair (?)my rear window breakage from thieves trying to steal my car, twice in as many months! It was like adding insult to injury! Especially due to the glass repair people damaged the paint on roof above window & around it due to just ripping it off without any attempt to mitigate the damage! They did an ok job on steering wheel column but could have repaired 16 in the time they kept it! I called leaving word for David Gates, Svc Mgr twice, when I knew he was there, knowing it was I was calling,as the person who answered phone asked "is this Ms Mixon?" I answered "YES" & he was gone from the phone just long enough to tell svc Mgr that I was holding for him! I asked to leave a msg on his voice mail, telling him about my paint being damaged & needed someone to help with the $1000 Cost of re/painting it! 0 - Svc Mgr is a coward! Will not speak to me abt damage to my paint on my car, also dirty hands messed up headliner with grease & back seat upholstery, in addition to the door handle so dirty with grease & grime I could not wash it off, kept it for 32 days, which should have only taken 2 days at most This is the 2nd time this has happened as it was abt 28 days the 1st time-At least other dealerships were honest, telling me the date they could get to it-FOOL ME ONCE-SHAME ON YOU; FOOL ME TWICE-SHAME OM ME!
