DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, EVER! - J Nelo
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, EVER! I sent this notice to the Better Business Bureau:
This notice is in response to repairs and expenses already paid, associated with the recent purchase of a 2009 Hyundai Accent (9/9/22). On 10/10/22, the motor had a knocking noise in the engine and I had Christian Brothers Automotive Pearland, check out the problem. It was determined that the vehicle had anti-freeze contaminated in the engine oil which was the result of a damaged cylinder head. The motor had to be taken out completely and pistons, water pump, gaskets, new cylinder head, etc. had to be replaced. I contacted the dealership manager (Hector J. Vazquez) on 10/15/22. Vazquez replied that I needed to bring the car back to Reliable Cash Cars. I replied back to Mr. Vazquez that Christian Brothers Automotive already began the process of removing the motor to determine the problem. I reiterated to Vazquez that I felt comfortable having the repairs done at a shop of my choice. Vazquez said that he would ask the owners of Reliable Cash Cars to provide me “some financial aid”. I was not expressing for Reliable Cash Cars to pay for the entire cost of the repairs due to the ‘contract of buying a Used Vehicle without Warranty’. On 10/20/22, I asked Vazquez again and he indicated that he would pay the “cost of repairs if his local shop would of done the repairs and pay me the difference of what I paid on my own”. On 10/26/22, I inquired about the aid and Mr. Vazquez indicated that the Owners had a family emergency and he still had not received guidance from the owners. He said he would take the initiative and see if he could rectify the situation. At this time, I still have not received aid/compensation from Reliable Cash Cars LLC. The vehicle has been repaired and paid a total of $6755.38 on October 28, 2022 (see attached invoice). This is a complete disaster, compared to the $6200 I initially paid for the vehicle! The vehicle again had some mechanical issues since the vehicle was repaired and I have since Sold the vehicle, which incurred more financial lost. This is beyond being ripped off and a disaster of a dealership.
