I have always had a good experience here until my last visit. Had my oil changed and tires rotated for the 1st time since purchase. Jeep rode like brand new before visit. After visiting it rides very very poorly. I was told they could re-balance tires but would come at additional cost. Almost 3x the cost of a normal tire shop. Other than this visit, I have been very pleased with overall service and Matt is great to deal with. I cannot fault him for doing his job.

End of June 2025, we are driving home and passing through Sanford NC. The "Check Engine Oil" indicator comes ON. Very fortunately, a GOOGLE search on my phone finds Hiester CJDR only 6 miiles from my location. Got to the dealership OK, went to Service Office, and met Bill Perry. I explained our emergency, he was able to immediately get the JEEP into a repair slot. The Technician Mr. Garcia-Alcantar found the oil pressure sensor had split and was leaking oil..... So, new part installed, an oil change and a new filter, and a complete complimentary Factory Multi-Point inspection, and we were on our way. 6 hours later we arrived home, the JEEP ran flawlessly. I highly recommend this dealership and its attention to customer service. Also, it is a great location near my kids, should I ever need any maintenace done on my JEEP. Thank you to all the crew at Hiester CJDR, this was a superior and worry-free experience. - Mark S.

I had the best experience with this dealership! Damie Griffin, my sales person was excellent and patient with me. He went over all the details of the 2026 Jeep Wrangler before we took it on the test drive, showing how to take the top off, putting it back up and unhooking, rehooking the back window. After the test drive, we went over the paperwork as they took my Jeep Sahara out to appraise it. The Sales department really worked hard to give me the best deal, giving me top dollar for my trade in as well as any rebates I qualified for. They answered my questions about GAP insurance, Car Care Service Maintenance Plan and a Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty. Before I left the lot, Damie connected my Iphone to the Jeep and showed me a few things on setting up my screen which I have promptly forgotten. I bought the Jeep on Wednesday and Damie has texted or called me every day asking if I had any questions or concerns and if I need any help with anything. I told him I was trying to figure out the navagation system and he has asked me to stop by when I'm in the area and will show me how to get that working. I have been very impressed with them and will come back to them again. One last thing, I had worked night shift the night before and had not slept. They were very concerned about my safety when I left the dealership since I had been up almost 24 hours, which was sweet.

After looking for several weeks to find the right truck (very strict criteria) they came up with the perfect truck and were above fair on my trade. Professional experience from salesman Cameron Weeks (very genuine guy) all the way to the general manager Terry Groff, who went above and beyond for the sell. Dusty Wilson finance manager, didn't try to oversell but did advise and inform of various options/products, made it quick and painless.

I purchased a Chrysler Pacifica from AutoStar CDJR - jonpro2000

I purchased a Chrysler Pacifica from AutoStar CDJR Hendersonville on Memorial Day, May 25, 2026. My salesperson was Brandon. Before purchasing, I was told multiple times that the open safety recall had been completed. That was a major factor in my decision to buy the vehicle. The van has been at the dealership since the day after Memorial Day. I later found out from the service department that the recall was still open, the part was on national backorder, and there was no ETA for repair. This was extremely frustrating because I would not have purchased the vehicle had I known the recall had not actually been completed. I also spoke with the manager, Jobi, about the situation. During that conversation, I explained that I bought the vehicle based on being told the recall was completed. Jobi told me he would speak with his COO and get back with me. It has now been over 8 days since that conversation, and I still have not received a follow-up call or any clear resolution. I have also requested multiple times to speak with the general manager, including through Brandon, but those requests have not been handled properly and I still have not received a call back. At this point, the lack of communication has been just as disappointing as the original issue. I have had to chase down answers myself, contact the lender to document the situation, and escalate the matter because I still do not feel like the dealership has taken proper responsibility. I understand mistakes can happen, but selling a vehicle after representing that a safety recall was completed, then later finding out it was still open with no repair ETA, is unacceptable. The dealership’s failure to return calls or provide a clear resolution has made this a very poor experience. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone buying a vehicle here to personally verify all recall repairs and documentation before signing anything, regardless of what sales or management tells you verbally.

I was not in proper care and now now have internal issues with my vehicle but luckily I found a dealership that took care of me all my needs and treating me with respect and actually worked on my vehicle, And fix the problems that they have caused. The good dealership that I went to was in SC dodge ram of Spartanburg. You will be in good care from them.

Stay away from these shady folks. Lost a FOB, bought a new one here which ended up costing us $1,000 - the new fob never worked properly. Made an appointment to have it fixed. But before the appointment the jeep completely shut down. Had it towed to the dealership at our expense. Then paid for diagnostic test, and a new car battery, the old battery seemed to be working only the jeep wasnt. Then when we went to pick it up the day after the repairs were supposed to be done. They hadn’t even done the work! Had to sit around for over an hour while they tried to locate the paperwork then start working on the vehicle. The place is a complete clown show.

I have been pleased with the service that I had received on my Jeep Wrangler. While having service completed I shopped a new Grand Cherokee. The salesperson I worked with was Ryan Stanley. He was both professional and so knowledgeable of the Jeeps. You can tell he is a car guy. What impressed me the most was how he handled the small things. I never felt pressure or like I was wasting time.He truly made shopping a pleasure. He listened well to my needs and found just the right fit.
