It was a specific truck that brought me to Spruce Pine, but it’s Joseph, Chris and all the other Spruce Pine employees that will make Spruce Pine Chevrolet my go to dealership in the future. It was an hour plus drive to get there but worth every minute of the drive. We were treated with a kindness, courtesy and professionalism that I’ve never experienced at a car dealership before. When we left, I felt like I made new friends and I know they did everything they could to accommodate our needs and help us purchase the vehicle that we wanted. I can’t say enough good things about Spruce Pine Chevrolet, I would highly recommend buying your next vehicle from them as their customer service and professionalism was the best we’ve ever experienced. Very shady dealer practices here. Spent a whole day being told I could get pricing on a vehicle in transit and put money down to hold vehicle from an internet rep. I was transferred to a salesmen in store and talked about trying to get vehicle without the dealer add ons since truck was in transit and not there. Then was told that the add ons will be added no matter what and that I would just have to build the car online outright. Then after discussing that in that case I would just preorder online from Chevy instead of driving 3 hours to get truck. I was then told they can’t negotiate on trucks in transit anymore. Lol. This company practices is why the truck market is heading towards some dreary times. Be careful and watch everything they add on to your cars.

Don’t ever buy anything from this place because I bought a car July of last year. The car didn’t run well the same day I got it called back got the runaround and no one ever fixed the problem now I have a blown motor then up there still trying to talk to them about the car still getting a runaround now I’m stuck with time no running car then I’m still making payment sound. I was told that the general manager was out and he told me before he went out that he was gonna have someone to take care of the issue and the issue is still not been taken care of and this been since February 14 so now this place doesn’t even deserve a one and deserves a -0

Bought a car from there on 04/12/25 on a Saturday was a service vehicle had a cracked windshield which they said they would fix and said they would have to find the other key fob and would call us on Monday so on Monday no one called we called them 4 times the salesman dodged our calls and never called back and the manager said he knew nothing about whats going on and would have the salesman call us back to set up everything Tuesday still no calls and called them 5 times and salesman would not take our calls manger he will see what he could do no call back on Wednesday call and they said they lost the other key fob and have to order another one that was fine asked about the windshield he said if epoxy won't fix the crack they will not replace the windshield we would have to live with it or claim on insurance just a heads up don't buy from them

My husband and I ordered our 2024 Ford Maverick Hybred from Boyd Automotive in July 2023. Throughout the waiting process, Jason kept us informed of the build-status of our vehicle and was very willing to answer our questions. We received delivery of the truck on May 30th. Jason and the team were extremely helpful, made sure everything was just the way we had ordered it, took time to review the truck with us so that driving would be easy. I am the primary driver and just love it! We took off from Durham to Florida for a trip the day after delivery. The truck performed very well then, and has since. I highly recommend Boyd Automotive to anyone looking for a Ford vehicle; in fact, I did recommend to a friend of church already!
