Pleasant though austere show room and waiting area. John Skopetos was very accommodating to my and my vehicles needs. The service (a recall and refinishing 4 wheels) was very well done. I was never able to get service at at Genesis of Mahwah and the service . people were very unprofessional. I have found a new home for service in Englewood. Once again, John was terrific, friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

I stopped in to look into leasing a G80. Eduardo greeted us and was very pleasant. He let me and my wife test drive 2 different models and then led us back in to sit at his desk. That's when our experience turned. After asking me a few questions, I think he could tell I had never leased a car before. He left to speak with his manager and returned with a printout of prices which were sky high. My wife and I almost fell over. Did he think we wanted to purchase the car? Anyway, we politely declined to make a deal, and after speaking directly to the manager, we went on our way. After getting home and doing more research, we learned they were totally going to rip us off. Not by a little. It would have been a huge score on their part if we made that deal. I still don't know what numbers they were using to calculate their offer, but they were extremely inflated. We decided to lease from another dealership and had a much better experience.

Things have not improved here. Trying to schedule a recall service and after two calls and one chat I only get sales solicitations and so far no service appointment. I wish I had any other Genesis service in the vicinity. Due to the bad communication I am doing the routine service elsewhere, but for a recall my options are limited. Not buying a new Genesis as long as I live close to this service location!
