Kia service Perris is a joke! We have gone to this location for at least a decade and never had an experience like this. We take in our car after noticing that after we fuel up and come home with a full tank and store our vehicle in the garage, that our garage would smell like gasoline. At first we thought maybe it’s an escape from not tightening the lid correctly. So we tightened it and after a day of use the smell went away. The fallowing time when we fueled up again, the same smell came back so we opted to buy a new lid that would better tighten and again after a ride around the smell would go away. Well long story short it happened again and we decided to investigate and check the fuel pump and sure enough there was a leak. We take it in to this location and they give us the run around and say they didn’t find any leak when they were told that there was a leak in the fuel pump. Well they say we checked the engine and didn’t find anything. So we figure maybe they don’t know where the fuel pump is and so we tell them where it’s located to help them out a little. Make their job a little more easy. Well, they say they checked and found no leak, no evidence of any leak and even have a video to prove it. So in attempt to replicate our experience with the smell, we take in our own gas because they wanted to charge us ten dollars per gallon to fill up our tank to see if they could smell the fuel and or see the leak. We leave it yet another day so they can inspect the following day and they say they found nothing. By this time a week has gone by they say we have to pay for them inspecting our vehicle and charge us three hundred plus with discount included. Mind you Kia Motors web page has a bulletin regarding this specific problem and states that it is covered under warranty. We qualify under this warranty. So we pick up our car and bring it home. We inspect it ourselves and sure enough there’s a leak and it’s wet and here we go again to show them the evidence and like a dog with its tail in between its legs they have to admit there is a leak and are refunding our money. To top it off a salesman makes a joke to be careful with such women(employee) because she has the number to ICE. In the times we are living as a nation he made a poor choice of words. I am very disappointed of the service and treatment we have received from this location/employees. What an embarrassment. Side note it has taken 2plus weeks for a full refund. Still waiting!
