The easiest purchase ever! We purchased a BMW X3 28d from Tom Betterson in Oct. Purchasing a vehicle is NOT my favorite thing to do as it always seems to be an extremely length We purchased a BMW X3 28d from Tom Betterson in Oct. Purchasing a vehicle is NOT my favorite thing to do as it always seems to be an extremely lengthy ordeal but not with Tom! We drove the car on a Saturday, talked it over on Sunday and purchased the car on Monday. Thank you Tom for all of your help and making this a very easy purchase. Wasn't able to test drive I went in to test drive a 4 series on October 24th. Met Charles White and we drove a 428i xDrive Gran Coupe. In the dealership, we talked about my criteria and told him I would send a few configurations to get a price quote. The prices for the 4 series were slightly higher than I was comfortable with, so I thought I would consider a 3 series. I was still considering the 4 series, but just wanted to weigh my options. So, went in to test drive the 3 series on October 31st and talked with Charles. He said they drive the same and was not interested in me driving the 3 series. He told me the 3, 4, and 5 series all had the same engines and there really is no difference. I was floored. Why would anyone consider buying any car without driving it first. For me to spend $40K on a car, I may want to drive the car once and decide to buy it. But, I also think it is very reasonable to drive the same car, in this case a 4 series, twice before making a decision. Here, I wanted to drive a 3 series, not the 4. Since I was not able to drive the 3 series, I went to Denver and drove the 3 series and I drove the 4 series for a second time. I also drove a MB C300 twice from the same dealer earlier in the week. I am not sure why Winslow and Charles White have their philosophy, but I personally think it's lazy and/or stupid. I will no longer look to Winslow for future car purchases. For me to buy a car, I want to drive it first. Jim More
Be Cautious I brought my vehicle in after my brake like came on. They service tech checked the pads and said they needed to be replaced. He wanted me to make an appointment for the next week. I declined because I had the car inspected prior to purchase which was less than 6 months prior to this visit. During that inspection I was told the brake pads were fine. I ended up taking it to an independent shop and they confirmed the pads were fine however the sensor was bad. Since this was my first an only experience it left me feeling like I could not trust Winslow and probably won't go back for their advice on service issues. Hundreds of dollars difference between pads and a bad sensor, glad I got a second opinion. More

Best Car Buying Experince We Have Ever Had My wife and I showed up at Winslow BMW one evening intending to kick tires on a 328d Sports Wagon. Upon entering the brand new, very inviting, buildin My wife and I showed up at Winslow BMW one evening intending to kick tires on a 328d Sports Wagon. Upon entering the brand new, very inviting, building, we were promptly and courteously greeted by Bob Evans. He helped us track down the car we wanted to look at (a 2015 model that was very well priced), and demonstrated his knowledge of not only the car, but of the brand in general. After a test drive, my wife was obviously in love with the car, and we proceeded to sign and drive without the typical feeling of pressure to buy that we have felt at other dealers in the past. We were as much motivated by my wife's love of the car as we were by the professional and courteous manner in which we were treated by Bob and the other people we interacted with at Winslow BMW. The process was smooth; everyone was fast and thorough in doing their jobs. We had some questions the following day and walked in without an appointment, and unfortunately Bob was on a test drive and not available, which we understood. Rather than force us to make an appointment or wait until he was available, we were helped by Scott, who was also very knowledgeable and eager to help us. Everyone with whom we have dealt at Winslow obviously wanted us to be happy with our purchase as well as our experience during and after the purchase. I would recommend this dealership to anyone without hesitation. More
