I manage a not for profit organization that needed to upgrade our vehicle from a GEM/electric car to a full-size automobile that we can use year 'round in an urban setting. The GEM car no longer meets our needs for transporting patrol staff short distances quickly, driving in snow, and serving as a tow vehicle for our staff's bicycles. I dealt with John DiPasquale and Chuck Barone who helped me identify 3 possible vehicles that would meet our price and service needs. One of these vehicles was a used Toyota Prius that will meet our needs and match our corporate image with a low environmental impact urban vehicle. Chuck was able to offer us the Prius at a price well below average retail. We decided that this was the vehicle we wanted, but faced several bureaucratic and paperwork obstacles in getting our board's approval and bank financing. Chuck reserved and carried the car at no charge to us during an almost 2-month journey to approval. During that time, I drove the car to our service garage for an inspection, and discovered a noise in the front end. Chuck took the Toyota to a Toyota shop and had the right front wheel bearings replaced at no charge. John, Chuck, and I had a very open and honest relationship during an unusually long and often frustrating sale cycle. These are not your average stereotypical car sales people—these are professionals. As a result of their understanding and patience, as well as standing by their good deal, I strongly recommend anyone doing business with them! More
