Test drove new MX-5 and loved the car. They pressured me to buy that day without any time to research. I felt the price offered for my trade in was low and that was confirmed went they increased the offer w to buy that day without any time to research. I felt the price offered for my trade in was low and that was confirmed went they increased the offer when I was leaving. My research shows they still low balled my trade in. I requested a formal quote on the car I test drove. I left my home phone, cell phone and email but now a week out have received no quote or follow up. Pretty shabby salesmanship. I'll buy this model car soon but not from this dealer. More
They dropped the ball, lack of communication between credit/finance team staff and treated "less then" due to my credit history...after sitting in a back office for 3 hours I was told I was approved, I credit/finance team staff and treated "less then" due to my credit history...after sitting in a back office for 3 hours I was told I was approved, I was showed a vehicle (saturn Ion) that was in the back lot in the garage, that I liked and committed to. I was told to call them the following day ( to allow for detailing). I called at 1pm and was told by the initial finance rep "we're still waiting on final approval". I said "No, I was told I was ALREADY approved, sent home and to call today to see if detailing was complete and finalizing of contract." Gino (financing) said "let me get back to you, I will call you back in 30 minutes". I NEVER heard back! What a let down, A disappointment I didnt deserve, having recently lost my husband to lung cancer and now single parent to our 13 yr old son. Westcott Mazda has received complaints and feedback about not holding true to their quotes...That's not all they dont hold true to....Oh, I did get into a car..NOT AT WESTCOTT but the very next day PACIFIC HONDA did EVERYTHING a CLASSY, PROFESSIONAL, customer/community focused dealerships should do to earn your TRUSTED business. Larry "Magic" Pinnick is the credit manager at Pacific Honda and like his name says..."He CAN DO Magic!" More

I purchased a Mazda 3 from Westcott Mazda in National City CA and I have to say I love the car. The dealer is another story. When I was purchasing the car I asked if the cd changer plays MP3 CD’s, and City CA and I have to say I love the car. The dealer is another story. When I was purchasing the car I asked if the cd changer plays MP3 CD’s, and the sales lady checked with her boss and came back and said it does. I made a point of asking this because the tunes are very important to me and I made sure to ask several times. When I had the chance to burn some mp3 cd’s, I did and then tested the stereo and it did not play them. I went back to the dealer and had them check to see if it was damaged or if it even had an mp3 cd changer and it did not. The dealer said if I wanted that, it would cost me and extra 542.00. The sales lady even said she told me that and they still would not change my system. I wanted to speak to the manager and instead they sent out a rather large sales man to play the heavy, and he said that I would have to either live with what was in the car or I could pay to upgrade the system. Their own sales people said that they misinformed me and yet they offered to do nothing to fix the problem. They lied to me to sell me a car. Then they used intimidation to get me off the lot. More
