When the warranty work began, they had my vehicle for a month and the warranty is only 2 months long. This left me with little time to drive the vehicle and see if there were any other problems before the month and the warranty is only 2 months long. The staff that I was dealing with was off sick the day I was supposed to come in, another staff texted me to tell me that there was nothing that they could do and that my appointment was being cancelled. He also told me the other staff would contact me in a day or two and this never occurred. More
Scheduled a test drive appointment and when I arrived (from Portland, a hour drive) the car was stuck in valet mode. Took them a week to get it out of that mode and then when I went to pickup the car the key fob was non functional. I had to spend the better part of multiple days tracking down a key fob in Portland and then getting it programmed (dealership did reimburse me for cost of one fob but I did all the leg work to find one and get it programmed). The dealership's car acquisition team really screwed over their sales guy by buying a car and advertising it when it had technical issue and key fob issues. I bought the car b/c the sales guy (Peter) did a great job trying to work out the problems, it was a good price, and my son really liked the car. More
Fantastic service. I came in for service because I had taken my VW to a discount oil service station and they had over filled my car with too much oil. Without an appointment, VW of Salem had me come and and they quickly fixed my problem. On top of their quick service they didn't charge me a penny! I've learned my lesson, pay a few dollars more And get the job done right by professionals who know my car. Thanks VW of Salem, we'll be back! More
Truck has been in service almost 40 days. Was given back saying no issues were found.
