I was in a car accident recently that left me without a car. I came to the dealership and got in contact with Jose and he helped me tremendously! Even with how the car market is right and my low credit sco car. I came to the dealership and got in contact with Jose and he helped me tremendously! Even with how the car market is right and my low credit score, he still helped me find an amazing car for a great deal! Being a single parent it was important to stay in budget and that was honored as well. I can't wait to recommend Jose to anyone and everyone I know! More
Every dealership I’ve visited prior to VW of Puyallup were nothing but pushy and disingenuous towards me. When I walked into VW of Puyallup, the salesperson I met with Jose gave me the best experience po were nothing but pushy and disingenuous towards me. When I walked into VW of Puyallup, the salesperson I met with Jose gave me the best experience possible even as I was initially cold and closed off towards him thinking it would be the same experience as the last couple times at other dealerships. He is the one who told me not to rush into a car that didn’t make me 100% happy which shocked me and also made me build trust with him knowing I wasn’t just a paycheck for him. I’m excited to pick up my brand new car with Jose and appreciate him playing the long game with me until we were both able to find exactly what I wanted. Take my advice. Go to VW of Puyallup and ask for Jose! More
I was nervous to start the process of getting a new car after having had my old one for over 10 years. I heard good things about VW of Puyallup so I decided to start there and it really couldn’t have been after having had my old one for over 10 years. Update: What a horrible experience! Highly do not recommend. A year later and we are here for our first basic oil change. They sell you a car and you get poor customer service as soon as you drive it recommend. A year later and we are here for our first basic oil change. They sell you a car and you get poor customer service as soon as you drive it off the property. We arrived at 2:15pm for our SCHEDULED 2:30pm oil change. Time has passed and it is now 4:00pm and our car has not moved. When we first got here the gentleman said it would be an hour. There’s a sign that says that there is an employee shortage. I understand the employee shortage but that does not mean poor customer service. There’s a lady sitting there not acknowledging the 5 people standing in line. RIDICULOUS! If they would be taking more than an hour they could have asked to rescheduled and not over book in the future. If they were running behind they could have given a courtesy call to reschedule as well. 2 hours later the gentleman came to inform us that our car was completed. Come to find out… it was not yet ready. Most likely they were just trying to buy time… as we go up to get our car, the lady who didn’t acknowledge us, finally did, to tell us in a condescending manner, “you car is not done, we would have moved it up if it were. They are still working on it in the back and putting in their notes.” What? It takes 3 hours to put in notes for a basic oil change? Why lie to your customer? Although the gentleman had a very nice demeanor and we were being amicable… the lady who is probably the service manager, sucked and gossiped about employee turnover and how they can’t keep anyone. Come on Volkswagen services… You specialize in services! Customer service should be a priority as well. Especially with the cost of a car!!! 5:16pm The gentleman came back to say, “I thought Michelle got you out of here.” It is now 5:18pm and we are now leaving. TOODELOO! What a horrible experience! Completely let down by Harnish Volkswagen of Puyallup. We had our car trade-in value excepted but we’re working on the price and we’re told to wait a while, so we did and they never called us back. We waited for 3 1/2 hours after negotiating with no phone call. As we talk to the sales manager he referred us to the general manager his name is Chuck and now since they dropped the ball the money factor rates went up which caused our payment to go up over $100 a month. I’m expecting them to make this right. And I’m expecting Shannon Harnish to give me a call. They have my number. Norm Wagner More
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in March and I worked with both Peter’s for the deal. The experience was so great I then referred a friend who purchased two more new vehicles less than a month lat worked with both Peter’s for the deal. The experience was so great I then referred a friend who purchased two more new vehicles less than a month later from this lot. Recently, I decided to sell one of my vehicles and began collecting offers for the car. Online sales, CarMax, other local dealers and decided since the experience was so great to return to Puyallup VW and offer them the car. The sales manager low balled the deal, which was disappointing. But, what’s more disappointing is his partner dealership (Subaru two doors down) didn’t. I’ll be returning my future purchases and referrals to Auburn VW. The convenience of the local dealership no longer outweighs the customer experience. More

I was in the market for a 2020 Tiguan SEL and there was one car left at this dealership. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by Jose Castelan. He was one of the most sincere and helpful salesman I have one car left at this dealership. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by Jose Castelan. He was one of the most sincere and helpful salesman I have met. He quickly let us know that the car we were looking for was out for a test drive and potentially being sold. Nevertheless, he was able to both assure us that he will ensure we got an opportunity to evaluate the car if the sale was off AND he was able to provide excellent recommendations for other vehicles that were available. At the end of the day, we drove out with our Tiguan SEL but we would had been more than happy to drive out with some of Jose's other suggestions. Thank you VW of Puyallup for making the car buying experience pleasant and seamless. More
Purchased the Atlas Cross Sport SEL Premium R line today. Peter and all who helped with the deal were top notch. Great experience from beginning to end.
