We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater.com review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at their dealership. At this point, there is not a lot to say but sorry for the experience you had here at Fletcher Jones. We are not in habit of bringing any customer in from any distance on vehicles that have been previously sold. Unfortunately Finn did not get your message the morning of the day you came in, otherwise we could have double checked to make sure the vehicle was available. If Finn actually knew the vehicle was sold he would have alerted you immediately. We can only learn from this experience and do a better job of communication so that each person here knows exactly when a vehicle has been sold or there is a pending deal on the vehicle. I personally know what you experienced as I have in my lifetime gone on a few "wild goose chases" and it is never pleasant. Dealer Rater advises us to contact you through this forum. I would be glad to personally talk with you and apologize over the phone if that would interest you. You have the opportunity to update your review at any time. The experience at Fletcher Jones was a very disappointing one. I accept the apology as we all can make mistakes, but I like to point out again we called Finn in that morning and talked to the actual person (not a voice-mail) before we left the house. It is not true that the sales person didn't get the message as you pointed out. I do not think malice was intended, it's rather inefficient communication system and the carelessness. In the end of the day we bought a similar vehicle (VW Jetta) on the same day from Autobarn and we are very satisfied and happy about it.
