Refused to Honor Our Agreement I reached an agreement with Fletcher Jones this morning to purchase a 2008 Volkswagen Eos. Initially, I was advised by my sales consultant, Danielle, I reached an agreement with Fletcher Jones this morning to purchase a 2008 Volkswagen Eos. Initially, I was advised by my sales consultant, Danielle, that the manager had accepted my offer to purchase the car outright, and was evaluating my offer regarding a trade. I specifically asked her if we had an agreement, and she confirmed that we did. Two hours later, Daniel advised that her boss liked my trade and had accepted my offer of a trade-in. She asked if I could submit a $500 deposit, and I promptly provided her my debit card information. After three hours passed, I was notified by Danielle that her manager had decided to accept a better offer on the car. Apparently, Fletcher Davis has a difficult time understanding that offer+acceptance=binding agreement. This dealership can not be trusted. More
