There were a few cosmetic details that I was concerned about and decided to get fixed after purchasing the car. Even though the repairs are more expensive than quoted by the dealer. Having had the car a few weeks now the list of issues are mounting: 1. The car came with one key and remote. Obviously I didn't know this until buying the car. What car only comes with one key. To top it off it will cost $80 to get a key due to the chip required in the key. This is without the remote....which I haven't priced yet, but and certainly not looking forward to hearing this cost. No offer by the dealer to supply the normal and acceptable number of keys and remotes! 2. I assumed the car came with floor mats...what car doesn't?!? Nope! Also, didn't know until after purchase. 3. I noticed that the stripping around the doors were peeling up and come to find out the double sided tape used to rig it was wearing out. Crap Quality! Do it right please! 4. The Maintenance Required went on soon after leaving the lot. Haven't dealt with that yet. 5. The front right tire has a hole in it that has been plugged. Is this even ok with a certified car???? 6. I'm supposed to get the interior and exterior treated, windows retinues, and a few accessories installed, but haven't heard from the dealer since purchasing the car......I guess I have to reach out to them and inquire about if my parts are in. Seriously! Quality of the work and the post purchase service are super poor!!!!! Would I go back to buy another car here....NO! Even though the sales guys were nice and accommodating pre sale. It about the over all experience. Would I recommend this dealer to friends and family.....xxxx NO! If I had to do it again would I have purchased this car from them.....xxxx xxxx NO! Hope this helps someone else out there....... More
Lost ignition key during the scheduled service, they admitted that this case was not rare, it actually happened before. Had to bring the extra key from home to reprogram another new one, but the renewe admitted that this case was not rare, it actually happened before. Had to bring the extra key from home to reprogram another new one, but the renewed metal key part needed another 7 to 10 days to be duplicated. But when tried to put the renewed tax paid sticker to the rear license plate, then suddenly found the renewed vehicle license & sticker in envelop put in my Toyota Siena' glove compartment were stolen after service. Never thought this theft could and would happen to a car dealership, but after reviewed the comments of yelp.com for this specific dealership's Service Dept., thefts were very common albeit the quality of the services were shockingly inferior. Toyota of America and its headquarter in Japan both need to take this horrible dealership seriously in order not to ruin their efforts trying to make Toyota better, otherwise this dealership including their sales department and especially, their horrible SERVICE DEPT. would ruin their diligent efforts. How does one put -.5 stars? These guys are liars and no one should do business with them. I went down and purchased a new Corolla and that sale went fairly well, aside from some things I was told and late one should do business with them. I went down and purchased a new Corolla and that sale went fairly well, aside from some things I was told and later found out it was not true. The real problem came afterwards with empty promises. As I'm signing my loan agreement the finance manager tells me if I refer a friend, I'll get $100. I go out and start transferring my belongings from the Xterra I traded in into the Corolla. The salesman, Robert Coll, starts to tell me, "If you refer a friend...". I stopped him and told him, yes, I know, I'll get $100. He says, "Try more like $350". It just so happened I had a buddy who had just totaled his truck two days earlier. I brought him back that very weekend and he ended up buying a $35k Tacoma. (on a side note, the Tacoma story was a nightmare as well and only compounds my review) I'm told I would get my referral money after my friend's truck financed. I had to return to Toyota for a few things and in the interim I talked with the finance manager again, with whom I recounted what Robert told me. His comment was, "Our policy is to give $100. If there was any more promised, that's between you and he". In short, it took six weeks for the referral money to come in and all the while, I was in contact with the salesman. I kept asking him, verifying that he was going to give me the $350 like he said or if it would be the $100. He said he was working on "Getting me more" but the store policy is $100. Of course, he didn't tell me that until four weeks after I bought my vehicle. Up until then he maintained it being $350. Finally he texts me and tells me he was able to get me $200 but couldn't get me the $350. First of all, I knew he lied. It was clear. After my discussion with Mike in finance, I knew that additional $250 was going to have to come out of his pocket. Then he tells me he was "able" to get it to $200. I get the call to come down. I go down that next day and pick up the money. Only he handed me a money order for $100. He said he'd have to get the other $100 in two weeks. I was livid because it was another lie compounding his previous ones. Then, he started blaming me because I didn't help him "drive up the price" on my friend and get him a better commission. I was livid, I went inside and talked to the Sales Manager, Greg. Now, Greg seemed like a good guy and was not happy with what happened. To cut this off a bit, Robert got fired the next day. I tried getting a hold of Toyota about the other money I was promised and they told me "the store policy is $100 and therefore they're not responsible, have a good day and take a hike"....to paraphrase. In the end, Robert got fired, Toyota did nothing to take care of their customer and Toyota doesn't care because they got their money. I tried to explain that regardless of whether or not the salesman made that promise of his own accord or not, I wasn't made aware of that at the time I brought my friend in to buy a truck. I feel as though Toyota should still honor that. We're not talking much money here, only $250 for them. But here's the deal, had they told me $100 from the get go, I'd have been more than happy. However, they brought me back on false pretenses and didn't tell me otherwise until long after my friend purchased his truck. This is bait and switch. This is deception and out right lying. I'm sure this feels like rambling, to which, I apologize. Again, there were other issues that I was lied to about as well, but it's the customer service and Toyota not caring about its customers that upsets me. It's all about principle and ethics. Of which, ethics eludes them. More

Warn you not to leave your belongings unattended in your car during thier service. Also if you end up finding out, some of your belongings missing there, don't expect their charming management to help you o car during thier service. Also if you end up finding out, some of your belongings missing there, don't expect their charming management to help you out or at least be responsible ! Very rude, irresponsible, unprofessional, manipulating management as well as you know what? Even though, haven't been really happy with their service or rudeness, since they were close to my house, I have been going there for more than 3 years, but after my recent experience with their service department ( missing items in my car during service), and dealing with their rude management, I will never ever ever will go there. I recommend "Miller Toyota of Anaheim". They are much more friendly and professional. More
Will be recommending this dealer to EVERYONE I know who is looking to buy a car. I know many people who are looking to buy in the next 3-4 months. Have passed along my experience via facebook, texting, jus is looking to buy a car. I know many people who are looking to buy in the next 3-4 months. Have passed along my experience via facebook, texting, just talking. Posted on a handful of forums and newsblogs and groups I am on about my experience, its not 100% done yet, seeing as still need to return for service for acid treatment for paint, alarm, toolbox etc for our two trucks we purchased. Luis ran all over the lots the other day when it was north of 85* and the air was very thick. Just when we thought they didn't have the trucks we wanted, he found two hidden gems, that were NOT grouped with the other row of tacomas at the corner lot. And they were NOT base models like we were going to SETTLE for :) they were in fact, the exact models we were dreaming of, in the rare colors and trim, EXACTLY how we wanted!!!!!!! They were so accommodating! We got there at 4pm? Didn't leave until 10pm? All the while keeping Luis and Mr Wright busy hammering out the details! My old man wants to get a truck from them next year, as well my old lady a Corolla. I have a number of other family members who intend to buy in this next coming year, as well my Fiancee's family. Our car crew/club, and other local friends from our car events and forums we are on. Guess what? Sending them ALL to Toyota of Orange! Truly the best experience I've had at a dealer in YEARS. Love the service, love the people, this is what a dealer SHOULD BE! Yet what so many local ones around it, FAIL to be. Will return to do closing review after we have the carpet and paint treatments done, and alarm installed, and get a toolbox from their parts department onto my truck! But I suspect if anything so far, it will be an amazing experience as well! DO NOT HESITATE to BUY FROM THEM!!! Luis is awesome! Wright is funny as xxxx! Loved the experience! More
I love Toyota since my College days. I've purchased at Toyota Place at Garden Grove and Toyota of Orange. Both places have a respectful team and friendly staff. I'm writing specifically about Jeremy at Toyota Place at Garden Grove and Toyota of Orange. Both places have a respectful team and friendly staff. I'm writing specifically about Jeremy Wright from Toyota of Orange. He is part of the service department. I have always taken my cars there for service and he has always treated me and my husband with so much respect. He is truly a professional and sets an excellent example of what customer service is about. Honestly, the entire team in the service department is amazing. Jeremy not only treats us well, but he does the exact same to all the other clients no matter how busy he is. That is dedication and I really feel that I'm getting truly excellent service! Thank you so much Toyota and especially Toyota of Orange- Jeremy Wright! More
I serviced my 2004 Scion XB at another dealership for almost 10 years. I moved an hour away from that dealership so it is not convenient and I had to find one closer to my house and work. Toyota of Orang almost 10 years. I moved an hour away from that dealership so it is not convenient and I had to find one closer to my house and work. Toyota of Orange is on my way home, great! I've used their services a few times over the past couple of years. I questioned their service on a couple of occasions, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I had a routine oil change done late 2013, shortly after my car was smelling all dusty. I thought, wow I need to change my cabin air filter. I went to install the new one, and discovered mine was gone! Peculiar, my car had only been serviced by Toyota of Orange over the past year. Again I dismissed it. My car was a little past due for it's next oil change, I was going on a vacation and took the day off of work to run errands before leaving. Not having time to waste, I went online Monday 4/8 and set up a service appt for 8:30 Friday 4/12. Monday night I received a return email that the Toyota of Orange recipient was not valid. Hmm...So I called Tuesday morning 4/9 and again made an appt for 8:30 Friday. I arrived at my appt today at 8:15, got in quickly, I told my service guy, Brandon that I'd be waiting, thinking it would be 30 min - 1 hour. Afterall, I did make an appt! Two hours of waiting I asked the cashier if my car was ready, thinking I must have missed them calling my name, she said she didn't have the paperwork, so they must still be working on it. I went outside and waited, then decided to look over the estimate, Brandon put 10:30 as the estimated finish time! I was shocked, 2 hours for an oil change, with an appt?! At 10:45 I asked Brandon about my car, I needed to be across town at noon. He checked the computer and it said my car was checked to a technician and it should be in one of the first stalls being worked on...I checked, my car was not in their stalls. I did find it still in their waiting parking lot! I told Brandon this so he checked with the technician and came back saying my car was next. I told him I had to leave, 2.5+ hours is too long for an oil change! He stated that they were busy and that he was sorry. I know Friday's are busy, that's why I made an appt! I took the car and went to my appts. On my way back, I thought I'd give them another chance to make things right. I called and Aaron, said they should be able to take care of me. I got to the dealership and spoke with a service manager about my horrible experience. Yes, I expected them to make an opening and service my car right away, afterall it's only a routine oil change and I'd already waited for 2.5 hours! The service manager said it would be an 1-1.5 hours. I told him I didn't have that much time, since they'd wasted my time in the morning. So I left. I then called the dealership, explained my story and asked to speak to someone above the service manager. I was transferred to Jeff (I believe) he sounded like the service manager I'd just spoken with in person. I explained my story to this guy, he took my information, said he was going to walk back to the service department, see what they could do and have someone call me back. An hour and a half later, still no call! I will never use this dealership again for anything, and I'll inform any and everyone I know of this experience. For the above reasons, I'm giving them a poor rating. More
I will never return to this dealer. Their salesmen are untrained and seem to be the lowest level of sales people that I've seen. I am surprised they are business. They will pass you on from salesman to salesman, BS you, and none of them know their job. Horrible dealership! Never again! More
