Unfortunately, the 2017 Toyota Highlander XLE in Blizzard Pearl sold within hours of your inquiry that morning. After discussing the pricing on the phone in the morning, you had decided to think over our offer since you already had a deposit on another vehicle elsewhere. You did not give us any indication that you planned to visit us or accept the terms we discussed prior to showing up at the dealership that afternoon. Had you indicated to us if you were on your way to us, we would have gladly informed you that the vehicle was being sold to a customer in the showroom. In reference to Bait & Switch. By definition, Bait & Switch is the action of advertising goods that are an apparent bargain, with the intention of substituting inferior or more expensive goods. We offered the same vehicle, same model year, same options, with about the same mileage. The other two Highlanders were Silver & Black. You declined to consider either of those colors. At no point, did we offer a higher price or lesser trim, or lesser equipment than the one we discussed.
