Finance Dept very dishonest I will never buy another car from Toyota Direct in Columbus. At the end of April I purchase a brand new RAV4. Yesterday I received a letter from the bank stating they were withdrawing the finance offer because the dealership submitted the paperwork. I have no issues with the salesman, but the finance person is the issue. Right after I purchase the car he left on a three week vacation and never finished my paperwork and the worst thing never told anyone so someone else could finish it. I wish I have my old RAV4 back but they have sold it already. It took them three weeks to payoff the loan for my old RAV4, plus did not pay it off all the way, I had to pay the rest so it would not hurt my credit. They never check the payoff since it took them so long. I have left a message for the General Manager, but so far had not called me back. I will now go to another Toyota dealer for the free service, I will never step foot back at Toyota Direct. More
Would not provide online quote for out the door price. I requested an "out the door" price on a vehicle including taxes and fees. I also stated no phone calls since I wanted to compare written offers from several dealers. No response came after 3 requests and so I made a request through the Carfax website. (it says you will get an email offer in a few hours). But I did receive more than one phone call from the dealer wanting me to come in and discuss an offer. I did not call them back (and won't) after I requested no phone calls. It sounds like they don't want to do business with you if they can't get you to come in so they haggle with you. Other dealers have sent me written offers, why can't this one? Needless to say, they won't be getting my business. More
Wasted time and gas. Drove here yesterday to see a mustang. They tried to sell it to me for more than it was listed. Then insulted me about our credit. I offered to put money down to pay off my car and they kept wanting more than I had. Every time they came back to us we were always in the negative. Then the payments they were stating were as much as a new car. This was a big waste of time and gas as we drove from Wilmington, Ohio. More
Nightmare My husband and I went into Toyota Direct on April 13 looking for a used truck to be able to use as a work truck. On Sunday, April 15, my husband took the truck to pick up dinner for ten with a couple of kids that wanted to ride in the "new" truck. They jump out of the truck, grab the pizza, get back in and the truck won't start. Not only that, they are locked into the truck because nothing has power including the power locks. They find their way out, are picked up by another driver at the house and the truck still sits dead in the parking lot. Today, I called to tell the dealership that the truck is dead two days later and it turns out there is absolutely nothing I can do about my newly purchased truck. Yay, I have a warranty that will fix the problem, we hope, but I don't know because two hours later I haven't heard from them about when they will get to my truck. The manager also stated to me, "I'm sorry, we obviously didn't mean to sell you a truck that was going to break down two days later," to which I should have responded, "Well we didn't intend to puchase a truck from a dealership that wouldn't stand by their customers, but here we are with a broken truck and your sale." The salesman from whom I purchased the truck came to the lot where is was broken. He discovered it was simply a battery terminal wire that had come loose and it is missed all the time on the multi point inspection. What else is missed on this inspection? I made it clear I simply wanted to cancel the transaction. Several hours later a manager called me back and said my truck was all fixed. When I stated I simply wanted to cancel the transaction, he said that wasn't a possiblity, even though I have laws to back me up. When I didn't back down, he asked me if there was some underlying issue with me that we needed to discuss. He was insulting and demeaning to me as I simply wanted to cancel the transaction. He claims he can't do it, however, he simply doesn't want to. Do NOT puchase from Toyota Direct. More

Little did we know, the service would also be incomparable. We worked with salesman Chris Taneyhill, and our experience was wonderful. Chris was so great to work with. He was not at all pushy and simply listened to what we were looking for and found it for us. He patiently showed us multiple vehicles and worked to find me exactly the specifications I was looking for. When we picked up our new vehicle, it was detailed immaculately inside and out. We could not have asked for a better experience. We will be back in the future and will recommending Toyota Direct and Chris to all family and friends looking for a car! After i picked a car went to finance office was mad cause i didnt want to purchase extened warranty slammed fist on desk so i walked out. At toyota direct i delt with females .upon walking on car lot i got a warm gretting from Susan Fisher i told her colors i wanted went inside she found car . It felt so much better walking into Toyota Direct .Susan taught me things about Toyota Camry that i didnt no even after driving one for 11 months. Awesome customer sevice I purchased a 2015 Chevy Malibu here about two months ago. The buying process went very smoothly and I got a good deal. Greg Simpson was my sales rep. Then last week I noticed the car had locking lug nuts. I searched the car inside and out, there was no socket to remove them. I called a Chevrolet dealership and was told in so many words that I was out of luck. So I took the car back to toyota direct. Susan Fisher walked me directly to the service manager, Paul Sayer and introduced me to him. He responded to my issue right away and went above and beyond to make it right. I live close to the dealership and even though it's a chevy I will be getting my oil changes done here. More
