Great buying experience At 48 years old I have had my share of car buying and have hatted every minute of it. This was different from the moment I spoke to Rafael to the minute I left the showroom it was an absolute pleasure. Rafael was polite and kind and answered all of my questions. He knew I was coming from three hours away and believed in me enough to, with a small down payment, hold the car that I was interested in till the weekend. I also had a trade that I was quite backwards on and although we where able to come to a comfortable offer before I came down, I was certain that things would be different when I actually stepped into their showtroom. They where not. The manager Robert Oconnell seemed to be a great guy but I was leary nonetheless. We chatted for a bit and then he went to check my trade. The whole time I was nervous remembering the absurdity of past expeiencing. We took the car I was interested in out for a ride. It was in great shape and ran even better. It was an absolute bargain, I thought. We came back and although I waited for the hagling to begin, it never came. They gave me exactly what they said they would and I am still shocked. We went in to see Luis in financing who once again was a great guy. He explained all our options and did not try to push us into anything. We shared a slice of pizza while Luis worked on the paper work and shortly thereafter I was given the last of the keys to my new to me RAV4. Shortly I will be in a part time sales position as a real estate agent, I could only hope that I get into it with a group of guys of this caliber. More

I walked out from other dealers when they thought they could pressure me into buying. I hate shopping for cars but Mr. Sarrubbo made the entire process easy and fare. I will recommend him to my friends and family shopping for cars. More
BEWARE! It is seldom that I have had to write a review BEWARE! It is seldom that I have had to write a review of this nature, but the events surrounding a recent experience I had with the service center BEWARE! It is seldom that I have had to write a review of this nature, but the events surrounding a recent experience I had with the service center of DCH Toyota City of Mamaroneck, New York has left me with no alternative. I have owned Toyota 4Runners since 1990 and currently own a 2004 which I maintain in a very meticulous fashion. My SUV has 104,000 miles on it and I recently had my check engine light (CEL) and vehicle stability control lights (VSC) illuminate on my dashboard for which I took it in to be diagnosed and repaired. When I arrived everything seemed to go along like clockwork whereby I was able to get my SUV right in and they had the loaner vehicle I had requested ready to go. However, they assigned me with another service consultant to take my initial statement concerning the problem than the person I would ultimately deal with. Within an hour I received a call from the service consultant that my vehicle was reassigned to who was a gentleman by the name of Mike Vetrano, who again asked me to go over the problems the vehicle was having and he said he would call me back. I received another call from Mr. Vitrano approximately one hour later telling me that they had diagnosed the vehicle had a head gasket that was leaking and that it would cost $3,900 to repair, possibly more once they got into it and found some stripped parts etc. Needless to say I was shocked and unprepared for an estimate of this size and asked if they were sure, or if there was possibly anything else that could be done to take care of the problem which wouldn’t cost as much and he said that there wasn’t. I told him I wanted to think about it for a few minutes and would call him back. I next called Toyota of Manhattan whom I have done business with before and explained the escalating saga to them and asked them how much they would charge me to replace the head gaskets on both sides and they came in with a price of $2,600. I then called back Mike Vetrano and explained the competing quote I had received and he came down to $3,450 and quoted "at that price they weren’t making any money", so I asked him to check with his manager, which he said he did and that $3,450 was the best they could do. I told him I would pick up the vehicle and take it to the Toyota dealership in Manhattan. The following morning of March 25th, I drove my vehicle into Toyota of Manhattan and after speaking with their service consultant and the technician that would be doing the analysis and work on my vehicle, I decided to leave it with them. It took two days of testing and repairs, but it was determined that there were no leaky head gaskets, but rather a bad coil on number 6 plug and a carbon build up on the fuel injectors which were causing my vehicle’s problems. I picked up my vehicle on Thrusday, March 27th running normally and my total repair bill was $609.03, a whopping $3,300 savings over the repairs estimated at the Mamaroneck dealership which, I might add, would not have ultimately fixed my problem anyway. It seems to me the level of incompetence at the DCH Toyota City of Mamaroneck should at a minimum be addressed with their entire staff, because it is either incompetence on the part of their management, or an intentional misleading and padding of a bill. Mike Vetrano had brought this to his manager, whom I can only assume was Joesph Modica, on at least two occasions and came back with the same pricing each time. They should be ashamed of the dishonor and shadow these events cast over the Toyota name and a restructuring of the way this dealerships staffing, as well as the way in which they conduct business, should be reviewed and restructured immediately. If this injustice is happening to me, it is undoubtedly happening to others which should scare anyone dealing with this dealership! I no longer trust this dealer and will feel free to share my experience with all that will listen. More

The price offered for the used car we bought synched up well with on-line value estimators. Our trade in value seemed on the lowish side but our car needed work and they were willing to negotiate a bit. well with on-line value estimators. Our trade in value seemed on the lowish side but our car needed work and they were willing to negotiate a bit. Overall, we were happy with our experience. There as a little pressure to act fast on the first day we arrived but it is true that used Prius's tend to go fast so this is somewhat understandable. However, we we glad we took one night to decide what to do and do research on the used car buying process. Everyone was very friendly! More
