Diana, There are some inconsistencies with your review. You purchased an "as is" vehicle, with well over 100k miles, and declined to purchase a warranty with it. Despite the signed understanding of an as is purchase agreement, the dealer still performed repairs as a one time goodwill gesture. Additionally, the dealer offered a full refund of the vehicle purchase, which you declined. Your verbal abuse of our staff will not be tolerated.

The vehicle was purchased with an engine light on and therefore a Goodwill gesture was extended to fix it and one week later the light was back on.

$1000 charge to repair it was finally extended but the actual part cost to me retail if I purchased this would be $245. I was given an offer to pay for half of the $1000 by the dealership. Do the math and the repair was not to be done by their mechanics. The first time I brought the vehicle in for the check engine light on again,, I was given a rental. Nice gesture but they also wanted to charge me for the repair and if I didn't pay they would charge me for the cost of the rental

The "goodwill " gesture didn't occur until I complained to the sales manager in how I was being threatened by Mario to pay for the repair or pay for the rental, and not pleasantly.

The independent repair shop that my vehicle was sent to changed the oil pressure sensor and put the wrong grade of oil in the vehicle. The GM issued service bulletin states, as well as reviewing causes for the engine code PO6dd, makes both of these service issues the reason for the code. I asked that the oil be replaced with the correct grade, but they will not do it nor answer to this problem

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kudrle, We received your review, however, there are some inconsistencies we would like to address. Every used vehicle goes through a "safety" inspection. As your husband pointed out, the initial concern was not a check engine light, but a starting issue which we handled at no charge, including a $500 tow bill. Part of the inspection for your car, included a smog inspection, which your vehicle passed. In your review, you mention the inherent risk of purchasing a used vehicle. In this case, one that is 8 years old with 112,000 miles. A failure of a catalytic converter is not something we can predict. We provided a loaner vehicle, as well as a no charge diagnostic fee, and offered a substantial discount to repair the vehicle, which you declined.

There are no inconsistencies in my review. Facts don’t change just because you don’t like them. Your response, like your customer service, lacks any common sense. The check engine light for the catalytic converter turned on 2 days after we purchased the vehicle. We called our salesperson immediately, and of course, he never responded. So much for your so-called, “inspection”. Is this the same “inspection” that didn’t alert you guys that the vehicle needed an oil change? You can give whatever excuses you’d like, but more than likely you cleared the code and stuck it on your lot so it would be someone else’s problem. The fact that you want recognition for doing what you should have when it stopped running is laughable.
