Too expensive. Poor job. I needed some electrical job done on my car. I went to this dealer to get an estimate. They said the job and parts will cost me more than 1k. I though I needed some electrical job done on my car. I went to this dealer to get an estimate. They said the job and parts will cost me more than 1k. I thought it was super expensive taking into account the parts go around $400 total. There is a 600+ dollar difference for just labor. After my 4 hour visit just to check my car, I got my car back and went home. I was driving for about 5 minutes on the highway when I heard banging noises on one of my wheels. I pulled over and found cables hanging from my car with a whole black duct tape attached to one of the ends of one of the cables (yes, a whole black duct tape). I also found part of the plastic around the wheels not assembled correctly after the mechanic(s) opened it to check it. I couldn't believe it! I will recommend people to do a better research regarding their cars. It is a good idea to have a second opinion. To the people that works at this dealer, please make sure your staff doesn't charge more than needed regarding labor. It is not rocket science (for the most part). Also, make sure your mechanics know what they are doing. I was lucky the tape didn't get stuck in my car's tire and that also didn't hit any other drivers with it on the road. More

I left my truck and walked to work which was convienantly close by - this is the only reason I went to a dealer against my better judgement and experience. After a couple hours they called me and said after inspection they determined it was a certain part and it would be over six hundred dollars, I immediately said do not do it. Next the representative said he could do something about the estimate, he did some recalculating and gave me a discount of $150. I reluctantly said go ahead and said thank you and goodbye. I instantly felt buyers remorse. Another couple hours went by and I received a voice mail saying the job was done and there was good news, the diagnosis was wrong and the price was now only $268. After analyzing what was said in the voicemail it was clear that the initial estimate was given without really inspecting the door as stated. I feel I was lied to from the beginning and only out of pure luck walked away with a reasonable fee. I used a dealer for this repair only because I was urged to do so by family and friends and convenience, from now on I will listen to my instincts and never again go to a dealer for repairs. More

He was very understanding to our needs and requests and we really appreciated that service. Not to mention we got a card in the mail from our sales rep and that was that extra flare and whats going to keep me returning for my needs. More

He explained my cabin filter would need to be replaced next time, it was not that dirty. No BS from this service employee and said all else was good. Thank you Toyota of Chula Vista. L Rafael More

Told him we were looking at buying a car at the end of summer. A few months later he called us to say there was a special promotion at Toyota. We came back test drove the car. Loved it. More
Braking Noises after I paid for service maintenance. I sent this message. We'll see if they actually care about a long time Toyota customer who transferred to Main Street> I brought my Scion XB there on 07/06/2015 only because it is due for service. But there was no problem, no noises. I love this car. I dropped it off 8:30 for my prescheduled 9am appointment, and I did not get to see my car again until 4:30pm. That the advisor Miriam Cortez did not contact me as soon as it's done at 130pm, I have to keep calling, then wait for shuttle again- was not even the problem. My major qualm was I brought my Scion XB there fine, and got it in worse condition than I already brought it. After I had to pay $228.16 and a whole day of waiting, this is the kind of service your people do. Now I have suspicion my car just sat there in your lot, nothing got done, my car has not been serviced and it's all a big fraud. In the meantime, I do not know if my car is going to be ok or if your people in their callous disregard of customers, just endangered me and my kids! The 120k check was supposed to clean & adjust brakes. But now everytime I pressed on the brake it makes a squeaky rickety sounds/noises on my car. My car is 2004. I know how it sounds, changes in how it drives, it's my faithful companion. So when I hear weird noises that did not exist before I brought my car there, I fear your people just messed with my car. I need you to prove to me that your people actually worked on my brakes. I need the car checked asap while I and you are watching your mechanics work on the cars. How do you quality check? Do you have a camera? How do you know what kind of work your people did? I asked to have it fixed, without inconveniencing me. I will update this with their response. More
A disgrace to the brand. An absolute disgrace to the brand. Shady practices, incompetent or lying salesman, deals that keep turning for the worse as time progresses, managemen An absolute disgrace to the brand. Shady practices, incompetent or lying salesman, deals that keep turning for the worse as time progresses, management that tries to intimidate rather than facilitate. All and all one of the worst dealerships I've ever experienced... definitely would not recommend. The salesman I dealt with almost succeeded in misleading me completely on a number of things and whether that was intentional or because he was new, not knowledgeable enough or just too eager to make a deal, I don't believe it was entirely his fault as he's nothing more but the management's reflection since they are responsible for him being the first line of representation vis-a-vis the customer. My advice to anyone who' happens to be thinking about going there, take an accountant and a lawyer along with you and don't believe anything the salesman tells you unless you get confirmation preferably in triplicate... My advice to the dealership, you really need to realize that the customer is in fact the reason you even exist, and not the flashy logos or a slightly above average product. Because if you haven't realized that by now, your brand is not what it used to be and there are a lot of much better options out there available at a better overall value More
