I made an appointment at Town East Ford Service with Dave to fix a leak in my sunroof. He said it would be three days before they could diagnose the problem. His guess was that the sunroof seal needed to be to fix a leak in my sunroof. He said it would be three days before they could diagnose the problem. His guess was that the sunroof seal needed to be replaced. Three days was a long time to wait just for the diagnosis, but I decided to do it because Town East Ford Service is closest to my home. When I got there, he told me that it would be eight days before they could diagonse it. He also told me a story about another Ford Taurus SHO customer that he denigrated because the customer's SHO "looked better than the guy driving it." His words. His story. Shame on Dave. Shame on Town East Ford Service for employing him. I took my Taurus to another Ford dealership. They fixed the leak, which was the drains, not the sunroof seal as "Dave the Denigrator" said. In addition paying them to fix the clogged sunroof drains, I paid the other dealership to fix the front-end, A/C, motor mount, and a few other things for a total of $5000.00 worth of work, and they did it all in three days. Town East Ford Service lost my business that day and forever. Do not trust Town East Ford Service! Buyer beware! More
My daughters 2019 Ford Fusion wouldn’t start. She thought it was the key fob, She only had one because the first on had already failed. She ordered a battery but that did not fix the problem. I called TEF because they had sold me a “Platinum” bumper to bumper extended warranty. They arranged a tow and three days later told me they needed to replace the two key fobs. I asked him why both had failed, my 1997 Cougar 35th Anniversary XR-7 has a fully functional key fob. They had no answer only a quote for $1100 plus tow, apparently my extended warranty did not cover defective key fobs. I called A1Locksmith and they showed up and programmed a new OEM key fob but the car still wouldn’t start. TEF replaced the OEM battery Feb 2, 2022 under warranty. When I went back in, I was told the battery was 9 days out of date and they wouldn’t assist with this one, they didn’t offer to jump start my car, charge my battery or offer any assistance at all even though I just paid $350 dollars for a tow that should have been covered and a misdiagnosis. I have bought 2 cars from TEF and 5 others since 2008 from Rockwall Ford and Randall Reed Ford. I will never purchase another. Town East Ford was always expensive but they provided excellent service and dependable repairs. That time has passed, I have been subjected to bad service before but the level of incompetence and callous treatment has set a new low for me. I have spent over $10,000 over the last 20 years with the service center and body shop, I will never spend another cent. I have always tried to buy American but when both key fobs fail within 47 months; they might just have been defective. The fact they wouldn’t stand behind them and they sold me a non-Ford extended warranty is terribly disappointing. If they had sold me a Ford extended warranty, it would have been covered. Anyways, forewarned is forearmed, buyer beware. More

During the time when my was being serviced and repaired, she kept me informed on the progress of the repairs. She and Ray Johnson were very very good getting me a loaner vehicle. Mr Johnson also was very kind and courteous. They are Two Great FiveStar Employees that demonstrated their best professionalism! We feel very comfortable about Town East Ford because their great customer service! More

Terrible service. This place it’s a nightmare. We called to make an appointment to get my GPS some part to changed. They told us that our agent quieted and that’s why This place it’s a nightmare. This was Friday July 8th/22. We set an appointment for today July 12/22. They said we aren’t in the system and they haven’t recalled any notes or appointments for us. We told them all the information that we know from the called we made the previous Friday.So they still were incompetent to fix their mistake. They were arguing that they never got our call and appointment . If we didn’t talk to them how do we know all this information about our agent and that the part for our truck was there. They rescheduled us and we have to drop our truck, when before they told us that we can wait there and that it might take a couple hours but they never said before to drop the truck. This situation was so frustrating and unfair. I heard bad things about their service before but this time was the worse. I don’t trust them this place it’s the worst. I’m not happy at all. More

Throttle body went out... Again. Mind you, they had already replaced the throttle body twice in two years and both times it failed in less than 12 months. Okay, so guess what. Another failure. But, I'm a decent guy, so I call them and give them another chance. Figuring the third time's the charm right? When I call and tell them that the throttle body they put in 9 months ago is failing again. They tell me even though it's less than 12 months, I've driven the vehicle more than 12,000 miles so the throttle body is not covered. xxx? I have to pay for the throttle body and service... Again? It's not my fault that your product and service suck. Unreal. Listen, it wasn't that much money for me to fix it, maybe $400. But, it was the principle. I can't imagine me telling my customers that they have to pay to repair a product I sold them that keeps failing. Never again. If you can't get your s*** straight three times, you're out. STAY AWAY! More

Absolutely the worst experience with a service department in my life. Communication as completely non existent. They’ve had my vehicle for almost 3 months and have only contacted me twice.
