Frustration My Jeep had a factory recall on the air bags, which is very scary. I had Thompson replace both front air bags. Right after that I moved to Florida wit My Jeep had a factory recall on the air bags, which is very scary. I had Thompson replace both front air bags. Right after that I moved to Florida with my dad to help him with my dying step-mom. On the way driving down I noticed my horn no longer worked, but it definitely worked prior to Thompson working on it. The air bag that was replaced is located right next to the horn. I immediately called Thompson but they said I needed to bring it in so they could look at it. That wasn't possible until I came back from Florida. I tried taking it to a Jeep dealer in Florida, but they wouldn't cover it since they weren't the ones that replaced the airbag and damaged the horn. I refused to pay for something that wasn't my fault. I ended up staying in Florida alot longer than expected, but unfortunately after almost a year, my step-mom passed away. As soon as I got back in MD I took my Jeep right to Thompson. They were trying to charge me to fix the horn they damaged, even after explaining everything to the manager Joe. I had to get into a screaming match with him for him to eventually cover it. Then I asked for price to replace my driver side window motor. I was told $130 and they would let me know when part was in. A few weeks later I was told the part was in and to drop off Jeep. My husband and I own a HVAC business and it was summer so we were extremely swamped. I was able to drop my Jeep off 2 weeks later and told they would call me when done. I didn't hear anything for several weeks. I finally got ahold of the manager Joe and was told it wasn't the right part this entire time and the correct part wouldn't be in for a few months until October. This was completely unacceptable, but there was nothing I could do. I was finally told the part was in and after I dropped my Jeep off, it took another 3 weeks for it to be completed. Then after all that, I wasn't given a discount or anything! More
