Two days after bringing the car home the tire was flat then took back because the insurance company made me aware the rim was welded together causing the flat n telling me how dangerous that is! they stated they would replace it and the rim instead they sent me home with same rim on the car again! They said its not there problem this dealership is a total scam before purchasing get everything in writing to fix also careful they create there own letters n receipts forgery! To show they had fixed or paid money out of pocket when they a really don't! They cause more problems then help all they care about us a sale they lied on applications to banks to get loans for there cars anyway to make a sale an get there money tricking banks! That's a fact! Don't buy anything from this dealer, terrible follow-up. I bought a 2005 BWM 645Ci from Tom. When we got to the dealership it looked very professional, however it ended there. Took the car out for a drive I bought a 2005 BWM 645Ci from Tom. When we got to the dealership it looked very professional, however it ended there. Took the car out for a drive and it drove very nice, but the radio did not work. Tom had several people work on it and nobody got it to work. He promised they would stand behind it and actually wrote on our sales agreement to take it to a BMW dealer to get fixed and they would cover. Drove away with the car and did not even get 3 miles from the dealership and the check engine light comes on. I immediately called Tom back telling him I was turning around to bring the car back and cancel the deal because I live 200 miles away and I was not comfortable buying this car with no radio and now the check engine light on. Again he swore they would take care of any issues and to just take it to the BMW dealer and they would stand behind any problems. Well after dozens of calls, texts, and e-mails it is now one and a half months later and I don't have a title to the car or any of the $2800 in repairs covered either. Worst Customer Service Almost immediately after purchasing a car from this Perry Szot and this dealership we had to take it in for repair work. Less than a month after the purchase two mechanics confirmed that there were 3 holes in the engine. Mr. Szot accused us of the defects and refused to assist in fixing the problem. We were given the impression that he was the owner of the dealership and felt our hands were tied with finding a good solution to the situation. Be VERY leery of any auto's from this dealership. Perry and his team did an outstanding job! I had just flown in from Japan, and was looking for a car for my daughter who will be starting college in the fall. I found a yellow Mini Cooper online at an outstanding price at The Import Auto Gallery, and decided to stop there on my way home from the airport. They were only about 20 minutes from O'Hare International, and their shop was easy to find via GPS. When my family and I got there, Perry warmly greeted us outside, and directed us to the car. After a short test drive, my daughter fell in love with the Cooper, and just a few short minutes later we were on our way! The staff were all very professional and friendly, and the facility was clean and full of all kinds of sporty cars that are all personally hand-picked by Perry! They even made sure that the car was freshly washed, and that there was plenty of fuel before we had the paperwork finished! I highly recommend Perry and his team at The Import Auto Gallery! More

I had a VERY BAD Experience with Import Auto. I will not refer this dealership to my worst enemy! They were very nice and courteous until they have your money. After an experience like pulling teeth haggling over price and purchasing my BMW X5 ( last September 09/24/13) I'm still Pissed over the things that happened after my purchase. I didn't notice until I was a block away the Gas odometer was on empty and they refused to pay even for a little gas. A month later I had to purchase a battery. While searching for the battery for the first time I noticed the Woofer/Sub Woofer Speakers were removed from the back trunk of my SUV. I knew something was off with the sound. They also sold me a service warranty for about $1,900 which when i tried to use after several attempts, no one wanted to touch because of all the fine print mumbo jumbo wording, They said it wasn't worth the paper it was written on. I will copy and paste this review with DealerRater a few times to warn potential customers of what to expect. I will also contact the BBB. BEWARE/BE AWARE of this review! More

First they said the bank is taking long then they said the stubs looked fake and they had to convince the bank. If they looked fake why didn't you just deny me? instead of going ahead with the deal. I asked about the extended warranty, they said it'll be $2000 and I can do the payments on that. I paid the initial down payment for the extended warranty but never got any paper work or receipt stating the extended warranty, called the company I was told the extended through is but they said they don't have any records. I called Import Auto back and they said it takes 3 weeks to get the extended warranty, I then asked for my registration, memorandum title and other paper work, I was told that they could do overnight, and after a week still no mail, i call back and they said it's in the regular mail and i'll get it soon, another 2 weeks no mail. I call back and i was told i needed to get the inspection done, got the inspection done, wait another week and call back, they tell me they sent the paper work to DMV branch which is 2 hours away from where I live. This is my second day calling the DMV and they are telling me they don't have anything under my name. I been calling and leaving messages for the finance manager but no response finally when i am able to talk to him he tells me to call back in 20 mins but no call even after 24 hours. Also, I asked them if there is anything wrong with the car, they said no nothing wrong. After driving for couple days light came up stating major brake oil leak, i took it to the BMW dealer and they said the brake pads were after market with old routers which caused it. I had to spend $1000 on getting that changed. Lies over lies, and they never call you. You have to call all the time. I already submitted my report to the Better Business Bureau. I suggest everyone to save you some time and headache and shop for a car elsewhere!!! More

Prices are much higher than they should be given the cars they're selling and the market they're in. With their already hyper-inflated car prices, they add a ton of additional bogus fees right at the end (ma they're selling and the market they're in. The car I was looking at went up a good 20% in cost when we got to negotiating, and I shouldn't even call it that because the owner just stuck to his original ridiculous price while attempting pathetic theatrics such as showing the "actual price he paid for the car." This number was of course made up and obviously so as it was higher than most other dealers were selling the same car for, not to mention what they may have actually paid to get it on their lots. While the other employees are nice, the prices are absurd and the owner is a pathetic attempt at a scam artist who would rather gloat to his unhappy customers that he has more money than they rather than even think about negotiating down a hyper-inflated price.
