I was recommended to Teddy Volkswagen by the internet site, TruCar. From that site, I found that Teddy offered the lowest price for my 2013 Jetta GLI. I later found that the TruCar price was pointless site, TruCar. From that site, I found that Teddy offered the lowest price for my 2013 Jetta GLI. I later found that the TruCar price was pointless as the dealership did not recognize the company and did not necessarily honor the prices of TruCar. Now I am leasing the vehicle, but the price should still be honored since after the lease period I might consider purchasing the vehicle. My primary salesperson was Kenny McGill, even though before going to the dealership, I was told I would meet with either "Emily" or "CJ." I was pressed for time since I was on my lunch break so Kenny had his work cut out for him. I was turned off since I was told I was going to meet with Emily who had all my paperwork and would be helping me. At no fault of his own, Kenny did not know why I was there and did not know of my intentions. That just ruined my whole visit. I reached out to Emily explaining how I was not pleased with the service and not pleased with the "old switcheroo". Kenny was nice enough to call the next day and address my concerns. We hashed it out over the phone but I ultimately decided to return to the dealership since I really wanted to purchase the car. I made my appointment and arrived at the dealership on time. Kenny was busy assisting another customer, but got to me right away. Since he now knew what I came for, he was prepared to show his skills as a salesperson (even though he didn't have to). I had a price in my head for a monthly payment of $275, but they came at $300. I really wasn't comfortable with the number but didn't want to lose the car. The final monthly price came to $299. We went out for a test drive, and had a great time as he expressed interest in purchasing the same vehicle. Now it was time to fill out paperwork. I was already in the dealership for around 3 hours. I wouldn't see Kenny for a couple of minutes as he ha to go speak with his manager, Tony regarding my purchase. After contacting my insurance company to get the paperwork together, Kenny informed me that I would need to call them again to change my address so it can match the binder on the car. Minor setback, but we managed to get through it. I was then able to meet with Tony personally to finish the paperwork. Tony was a great person to talk to. I could relate to Tony as we lived in the same neighborhoods and he was very easy to talk to. Tony had the job to inform me of the bad news that Kenny made a mistake and my monthly payments were not $299 but in fact $313 per month. At that time I was very frustrated but just wanted to get out of the dealership since i was now there for 4 hours. Tony apologized again and again for the mistake but there was nothing I could have done about it now. I signed the paperwork an was ready to get to my NEW car. However, there was one more problem. I overheard another salesperson say that the inspection sticker needed to be changed on the car and they couldn't find Kenny. So I had to sit there in the dealership, NEW keys in hand waiting for this new problem to be fixed. I was too tired and too hungry to get angry. A total of 5 hours later, I was out of the dealership, driving my new car. Overall I was ok with my dealings at Teddy Volkswagen. This was my first time purchasing a new vehicle. I would go back to this dealership for my next vehicle. Howcome dealerships don't give out little gifts when you purchase a new vehicle? That should be something I think dealerships should look into/ More
My wife and I went in to Teddy VW dealer with the intention to lease a new car. When we entered we were introduce to a salesman named Kenny McGill. My wife and I told him what we were looking for in a car. Mr.McGill quickly introduced the VolksWagon Jetta. He was very informative about the vehicle, and really down to earth. In my opinion Kenny did an excellent Job. With the Help of Kenny speaking to Tony Arnette the Finance Manager my wife and I drove out that night with a VW Jetta. Over all Teddy VolksWagon Dealership was very clean, the salesmen were very friendly from the moment we walked in. Thanks again Kenny McGill and Tony Arnette for doing a great Job. More
